      @Para-rt9uk@Para-rt9uk22 күн бұрын
    • @@-_-_-_-_-ImGigs-_-_-_-_-_-_-_It's usually not from being hit. When you do a lot of grappling, your ear gets squeezed and rubbed a lot. That's what does the dmg. Attributed to grappler and wrestlers primarily. You dint catch many boxers, kick boxers, muy Thai etc with cauliflower ear, unless they train some sort of grappling on the side.

    • That is exactly why I learned grappling. I stopped a guy with a single hit that attacked me on the basis of wrong information once years ago. Afterwards I thought it would have been better to stop him without hitting him at all. I had no problem with the guy trying to attack me based on his reasoning, his problem was that his reasoning was based on a lie, his other problem was that he lacked skill. Grappling skills give you the option of protecting yourself without violence.

  • I was in 7th grade and had been doing boxing since I was in 1st grade, another kid, who would become my best friend, told me that boxing wasn't good enough to beat wrestling (he had been doing wrestling tournaments since 3rd grade). I remember it like it was yesterday, we started to spar in the yard outside the school - my head hit the ground so hard, I had never even been taught what a sprawl was and I landed just like the guy in this video. I joined the wrestling team that year and it led to a college scholarship and a few great years of collegiate wrestling. It's not as flashy as Muay Thai or BJJ, but I still think Wrestling is the strongest foundation. I now do Muay Thai (late 20s) and train with some absolute monsters, but my clinch work and ability to stay on my feet in the grapple gives me so much confidence.
