The Starway M38T is based on the AtlantiX concept car. On July 30th, Star New flagship SUV M38T (internal code name) 's first body-in-white officially rolled off the production line at Chery Automobile Qingdao Base.
The car is based on the previously exposed AtlantiX concept car, named Starship. It adopts the latest technological configuration in intelligent assisted driving and other aspects and is expected to be launched at the end of this year.
M38T will have a high degree of restoration of the concept car. Whether it is the shape of the front cabin or the decoration of the front fender and front door, it is exactly the same as the concept car. In addition, from the perspective of the body in white, the new car will also adopt a hidden door handle.
In terms of intelligence, the new car will provide a 24-inch curved screen with a new HMI design. At the same time, the smart cockpit will be equipped with an 8155 chip and support 5G functions, providing more than 20 intelligent scenes and a more emotional human-computer interaction experience, and the headrest speakers and ARHUD functions are not absent.
In terms of comfort, the new car will provide the Queen's seat function, and provide a more advanced driving control experience through hydraulic bushings, dual hydraulic engine mounts, and CDC adaptive suspension, providing a more advanced sense of quality.
As for the power of the car, it will be equipped with a 2.0TGDI engine with a thermal efficiency of over 43% and a peak torque of 400N m.drive system.
According to the plan, Chery Automobile Qingdao base plans to invest a total of 23 billion yuan, mainly including passenger cars, new energy commercial vehicles, export KD, as well as related supporting parts, logistics projects, and the annual output value of the entire base can reach 50 billion yuan after production yuan or more.
