    • I feel in this version that you hear more of the strings and there's more higher notes and you hear the individual instruments clearer? I don't know if that's right, I don't really know what I'm talking about.

    • Elementally of course, but they were literally playing most of Transmissions live beforehand as Downplay and even released Dark on Me as a single before converting. Other members of Downplay besides the bassist turned down the offer to join Starset. They didn’t see the potential at the time, thought the space theme was silly and wouldn't work lol

    • Scott Villanueva Every show I’ve been to of theirs I am completely memorized by the drumming. Adam does an amazing job every time. I like the cool box he’s in now but at the same time I get disappointed since I can’t watch him the entire show lol. He does a lot of really cool stick tricks and his energy is just contagious. I’m glad other people recognize how awesome he is. 😁

  • The original song is a masterpiece, and this version is equal or inclusive better. Conclusion, the whole band is a masterpiece, and I can say that is the only band that I like EVERYONE of them songs, from Transmissions to Vessels. I'll wait to September 28 with hype.

  • I didn’t think I’d say this since it’s hard to beat originals, but I think I actually like this version of “Bringing It Down” better than 1.0. I was worried for some reason that adding more strings was going to mean watering down the overall heaviness of the song, but it adds a new dramatic flair to an already great song, making it even better without changing it TOO much. It feels like a 2.0 rather than a flat-out “remix.” This track feels like it came from a parallel universe where the creative direction for BiD 1.0 took a slightly different turn. I love so many of the new little nuances in this, one being those four keyboard-y notes at the beginning right after “I saw it in your eyes.” Well done, Starset. :)

    • Mix Master I didn’t think anyone I knew knew about Starset. One night while out to dinner my sister mentioned to me that I should check out Starset. I almost choked on my food while saying “Oh My God, I Love Starset!”

  • How haven't I known yet that the whole VESSELS album gets a "Version 2" ?? :o HYPE. 🙈❤️ However, I would love to have a NEW album sometime next year 🙊 It will probably take until 2020 (or really late 2019) though 😅 But for something as good as Starset's albums it just needs its time I guess... #Starset ❤️

  • There really is no band that takes this amount of instrumentation, atmosphere, power and originality in all of their songs, and this 2.0 version is even a step up from the original, more moody, added layers of vocals, orchestral accents, and piano work. Along with improved vocals for the original song. They’re going places, haven’t been so intrigued by a band in a long time. Have followed them since I heard halo from there first album in like early 2014

  • I didnt think this could get better but it totally did omg. One of my favorite things about them is that they use a string ensemble in their songs and the fact that they added a bass line in the strings andweird violin/viola jumps. The harmonization is everything. I love this

  • Back when transmissions first came out in 2014 I was in a dark place and this band helped me through it and now I’m way better. This band literally will always be my favorite band! Been here for the start and can’t wait to hear their new songs!!
