1 Month Mewing at Age 28, My Experience So Far (短下巴,长下巴,无术矫正)

Hi I’m Tina and I’m 28. I’ve been mewing for one month now. This video is to serve as a data point for the mewing community. I’ve also had Invisalign 4 years ago, and have retainers at the back of my teeth so that’s probably going to slow down my progress. So far I’ve seen functional benefits, but not changes in the way my face looks yet. Next update will come 6 months later, wish me luck!

    • OMG girl This is an EXCELLENT video. You have added the extra information that people needed to know...you fast fwded the info needed but I slowed it down. I know you would lose a lot of your audience if you didn't speed that up but this whole video is excellent. Thank you dear. I am a life long mouth breather with double chin. Now with this info and other info I researched I hope to have a better shaped facial structure and teeth. I can't wait. I know it will take time but I am in it for the long run. Thank YOU!

      @acapellaseto@acapellaseto4 жыл бұрын
    • @Mr. & Mrs Smith It's to do with muscle structure, it's making sure you're engaging those muscles instead of letting them weaken and ruin your facial structure. Imagine your back muscles weakening due to not using them, your spinal structure would obviously deform without the adequate support. Much like the structure of your jaw and neck relies on your muscles for structural support. It's scientifically proven to work. Don't go off on one without first having a way to legitimately disproving whatever it is you're against, instead of letting your ego do the talking.

    • @Mr. & Mrs Smith It's just basically muscle toning to support a better jaw and neck structure. How can you call it bullshit when it's literally just a workout.

  • I’ve been mewing for approximately 8 days now and have gained the ability to see through walls, foretell the future and move small objects with my mind. I have also acquired enough tongue control to the point where I no longer require the use of my hands when I eat. Will update as time goes on in my journey to transcendence.

(I constantly have a stuffed nose-- nothing has worked so far.) The tongue thing feels counterintuitive to me: it's RESTING, and putting my tongue on the roof of my mouth requires my tongue to be tense and like, flexing. Like holding a squat 24/7. This is the first time I've heard of it, super interesting! I'm definitely gonna start mewing!

The first 2 weeks were difficult and I had a (light) headache at one point, and recently I had teeth pain for 3 days because my tongue has been pressing against my narrow palette. But it means there's progress! The tongue rests naturally correctly when I'm relaxing/sleeping now which is really motivating. My face and lips look a little bit better and like you some functions are better (: Like I used to have this weird involuntary gurgling in my throat several times a day that's gone now lol

  • Thank you for this very clear info about Mewing, now I know where to put my tongue and it felt right, and almost like putting it in its perfect place - And, Yes! The breathing through my nose felt very easy when having the tobgue resting up there 😊 Thank you also for talking about all the many benifits you got from that little exercise 😊 You were willing and got so much more from your effort 😄 Now. Because of your good work I will remember to do it too - I have a sore shoulder so I AM definately doing this now and when meditating in future, I now know where to put my tongue 😄 God Bless you and your future success

  • The music is getting in the way of your voice. The volume is fine for both though. What I would try is compression. Try compressing the music a little downward (so it appears quieter) and compressing your voice with make-up gain, so it appears louder and it stands out from the background music and has less variation. You can do this with Audacity or Reaper. Let me know if you need any help.

  • I have a pretty good facial bone structure and have always had my tongue on my palatinum, basically it’s its natural state. I never knew that some people simply can’t do that, for whatever reason. But thanks for giving me insight! :)

  • I have an underbite all my life and my chin jutting out is one of my embarassing features. I feel it's getting worst and I thought I had to get surgery for sure. I'm so happy I stumbled on to this video. I'm older so I'm not sure it will help but maybe it won't get worst and I won't be tempted to get my face cut open.

  • Congrats girl! I’m a mouth breather, I found that 10 years ago when a dr. Studied my face structure and explained me the reason of all my face muscles and theet issues I had. So I went on a surgery since I had the nose bone deviated and after surgery I was able to breath through my nose better and that changed my face al lot, much better, no more dark circles under the eyes and so. And I was told to keep the position of my tongue as you said and that’s all true, it works! But still couldn’t get rid of tissues, I’m sooo allergic..

  • I started mewing at the start of January 2019, it was really difficult but i once i figured out how to do it properly it's helped me tremendously. I can't tell if i've had any physical changes, coz i haven't tracked it, so here's some other stuffs i've noticed. I generally have a good body posture now, while sitting, standing and walking. My head's straight, i only breathe through nose, even when i'm gaming i don't open my mouth like i used to, or lick my lips. Walking posture is extremely noticeable, i actually feel tall and big, and with my head straight i can actually see a lot more stuff that i used to. I've always looked down when i walk or even while sitting, now with my head straight i'm surprised how much stuff there is for you to see, like when i enter a room i can literally see the entire room, having a good posture at all times feel really great. And its like passive income, or learning to ride a bicycle, you spend about a month doing it, then you barely even notice you're doing it, it just goes on in the background

  • You need to remove the lingual wire. I had one and a tooth fell out. My prosthedontist said the teeth need to move to stay healthy. Now I use a removable plastic retainers at night. That is all you need.
