Its funny because whilst that _is_ true (I'm autistic), when i like someone the uncomfortable things start to feel sooooo incredibly safe and warm. As someone who is a serial avoider of any type of physical touch and eye contact because they feel way too intimate, those things are fuckin drugs when met with the right person istg. Although I think it's kinda off putting for a lot of people because my lack of eye contact suddenly becomes an excessive amount of eye contact. @@majakresonjajembrih6856 actually her home was near my friend's house so whenever I visited him I saw her and we started exchanging glances but I think her mom smelled something (strict household) and I saw her less often ..and she hardly leaves her home and by sheer luck i spotted her in town with her mother and i did get a chance to speak to her i got chickened out 😭 and this happened like three times..maybe I'm delusional but I think she even smiled at me then (in town when we exchanged glances ) but I didn't react to her like a fool that I am..she's shy too so there's no chance she'll make a move and she isn't on any social media apps too and i have stopped going to my friend's house...can't stop thinking about her and this has been going on for about 14 months or so..

If OP points out that he is just confusing at this point, then that suggests that she's not 100% sure if that is actually the case. I wouldn't necessarily say play dumb, but I also wouldn't jump to conclusions either. At the end of the day, OP and him are still best friend's, and if he hasn't mentioned anything specific about him liking OP as something more than best friends, then there really is no argument in the case that OP decides to bring it up, so its best to just let it be, as there is always the chance that he tells OP whatever it is that he tells them simply because they are truly best friends and he probably knows OP more than anybody, just like he tells you that the other guy is playing with you because he is also a guy and he knows how guys think. Idk but I hope this makes sense

He basically said he enjoys what he’s doing right now and didn’t want to change. Told him I never asked him too. Just know that if you don’t want to get hurt it might be a good idea to consider if it’s worth it or not. I’m not trying to be rude or anything but if he says that to you, who says he doesn’t to others as well, to me it sounds like someone wants the best from both worlds without having commitment or whatever, I would just consider in that case going in without expectation or anything cause clearly they don’t want anything serious or change, never try to change someone either cause it most likely will backfire and the person themselves needs to want that for them. But do whatever you want, but honestly who cares what I think? 😅

I honestly need to get this off my chest. I have a crush on my best friend and I have no clue if she likes me back. During school, we would always hold hands and be super affectionate. I would always rest my head on her shoulder but it wasn’t one sided. This one time, I was helping her with something on her computer, she came up from behind and rested her head on my shoulder. I wanted to scream in pure joy. Now that it’s summer we don’t see each other a whole lot. But, we managed to go to our towns fun fest. We hung out the whole day. We even got matching face paintings from a romance song! “I love you to the moon and Saturn” I got Saturn, and she got the moon. Now it’s an inside joke. Anyways, we decided to sit down about an hour before the fireworks. We sat down, she started to read heartstopper on her phone (she showed me some of the comics) and I was reading fan fiction on Ao3 (I was showing her some) I decided to rest my head on her shoulder, and I swear she put her head on mine for a few seconds, until we heard someone yell “RELATIONSHIPS START OUT AS FRIENDSHIPS” we both jolted out head up and laughed, and then resumed our current position. Except she didn’t put her head back. Then, the fire works started. We moved closer for a better view, and I once again put my head on her shoulder. I noticed she was shivering and I offered my sweater at least 10 times, but she said no, I’m not sure if she really didn’t want to, or if she was embarrassed. Anyways, I put my head on her shoulder while watching fireworks, and It felt straight out of a rom com. Except we’re not in Highschool, and from afar we just seem like two girls hanging out. I was worried that we wouldn’t hang out more, but she sent me a video of a couple painting eachother with styrofoam heads, she said we should do that and now we have plans Friday. Oh we never had a sleepover since her parents are somewhat strict, but she has been to my house for my birthday. Does anybody have advice that isn’t “tell her how you feel!” (Oh also every night I would say “goodnight love you” and at first she wouldn’t respond, which was fine. But after a few days she started responding, sometimes even saying it first.)

He basically said he enjoys what he’s doing right now and didn’t want to change. Told him I never asked him too. But he response with how he things my personality and view in life is refreshing and attractive. He makes no sense.
Just know that if you don’t want to get hurt it might be a good idea to consider if it’s worth it or not. I’m not trying to be rude or anything but if he says that to you, who says he doesn’t to others as well, to me it sounds like someone wants the best from both worlds without having commitment or whatever, I would just consider in that case going in without expectation or anything cause clearly they don’t want anything serious or change, never try to change someone either cause it most likely will backfire and the person themselves needs to want that for them. I honestly need to get this off my chest. I have a crush on my best friend and I have no clue if she likes me back. During school, we would always hold hands and be super affectionate. I would always rest my head on her shoulder but it wasn’t one sided. This one time, I was helping her with something on her computer, she came up from behind and rested her head on my shoulder. I wanted to scream in pure joy. Now that it’s summer we don’t see each other a whole lot. But, we managed to go to our towns fun fest. We hung out the whole day. We even got matching face paintings from a romance song! “I love you to the moon and Saturn” I got Saturn, and she got the moon. Now it’s an inside joke. Anyways, we decided to sit down about an hour before the fireworks. We sat down, she started to read heartstopper on her phone (she showed me some of the comics) and I was reading fan fiction on Ao3 (I was showing her some) I decided to rest my head on her shoulder, and I swear she put her head on mine for a few seconds, until we heard someone yell “RELATIONSHIPS START OUT AS FRIENDSHIPS” we both jolted out head up and laughed, and then resumed our current position. Except she didn’t put her head back. Then, the fire works started. We moved closer for a better view, and I once again put my head on her shoulder. I noticed she was shivering and I offered my sweater at least 10 times, but she said no, I’m not sure if she really didn’t want to, or if she was embarrassed. Anyways, I put my head on her shoulder while watching fireworks, and It felt straight out of a rom com. Except we’re not in Highschool, and from afar we just seem like two girls hanging out. I was worried that we wouldn’t hang out more, but she sent me a video of a couple painting eachother with styrofoam heads, she said we should do that and now we have plans Friday. Oh we never had a sleepover since her parents are somewhat strict, but she has been to my house for my birthday. Does anybody have advice that isn’t “tell her how you feel!” (Oh also every night I would say “goodnight love you” and at first she wouldn’t respond, which was fine. But after a few days she started responding, sometimes even saying it first.)
