    • As a parent friend, I don't mind confessions. If someone confessed to me and it was a close friend, I'd make it as comfortable as I possibly could. I'd tell them that I don't feel the same way but that they shouldn't be ashamed. After all it takes a lot confidence and I'd be honoured to help them gain experience. I'm not the type to avoid nor ghost someone I'm close to just because I feel awkward with them. I'd rather comfort them and make them know that they are still my friend, my childe and that I won't treat them any differently nor make them uncomfortable. I'll tell them that I will give them alone time if it still is too much and tell them that if they need comfort to not hesitate to talk to me nor anyone else in the friend group. Communication is key after all.

    • Im an introvert. I like this guy and I think by now we are friends, we use non verbal communication a lot I think.     • @@vinesbystitch-694 This sounds familiar. I was a shy guy too and I knew when shy girls had a crush on me. I was shy around them when I liked them back. He might not ask you out on his own but based on what you told me I think he likes you a lot. With me as a shy guy, this feeling of being liked was warm and fuzzy but I really had a lot of social anxiety. If you approach him publicly he may feel like a deer in the headlights. You may have to approach him in private. I don't know about this guy you're interested in but I know I was a bit complicated. An enigma to be certain. I hope this gives you some useful insight. Good luck young lady. Remember, we can be very affectionate and thoughtful as partners we just need to get familiar with the girl and our selves for that matter.

  • Actually, I've noticed that sometimes when someone likes you they struggle with eye contact. Sometimes they look away because they're conscious of giving their feelings away if they look you in the eye. This is particularly true at the "crush" stage.

    • Yeah like some think its weird or gross, but its something that exists. For me I wouldn't mind, I'll just try to become friends with them and get to know them rather then reject them. Because then you can feel bad and want to apologize 😔. It's better to just say something nice and polite like "oh thank you, that's really sweet of you" or something like that. :)
