I'm congolese and we're tired of fake pastors..one just humiliated a lady in front of the WHOLE church because her offering was 2000 congolese francs (that's all she had for that service). He went on saying to her the poor wamon " I will not accepet this small money. Go give it to poor pastors..I'm not poor" he used a congolese term meaning, he'll accept only dollars 🤦🏾♀️...like the woman's body language was so sad, like begging him to accept it. I remember how my gran would come from Venda to come attend their services. I would be called names by family members for not wanting to go to their services. my spirit has never allowed me to go to a place where I don't feel comfortable in. Being raised by narcissistic parents is the most mentally taxing thing anyone can go through. You experience the world through the lense of trauma filled with shame, guilt and fear. My mother was my first bully and my biggest critic, she would tell me I would never amount to anything. I worked hard and did well and now I'm independent I don't want anything to do with her and still she thinks I'm the problem because I don't want to deal with her. The abuse happened and I'm still battling with it even in my adult years, to her it never happened and that pain is dehumanizing cause it messes up your mind. My mother is there for other people and not there for my siblings. People perceive her as this good woman who does nothing wrong but she is toxic, lol the same parent that did me wrong is the same parent that wants my money... That women wants my money lol like she never told me I would never amount to anything. 😂😂😂Life is funny

In order for a country or a monarchy to survive, we pay taxes. Why should there be double standards when it comes to the things of God. Are we saying God deserves the bare minimum? Call us foolish, but to ignore the commands of God which are gazetted in the bible because you feel that you do not want to ‘enrich a pastor’ will lend you into serious trouble with God; more especially if you have discerned that it is an authentic pastor that you’re giving to.

That's so true Owamie. Ephesians 6 says we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against dark rulers, so basically the devil is a spirit that works through us when we allow it. The fact that the pastor fights with her husband means satan has taken over her and basically people that are in contact with her are just in contact with bad spirits. I totally understand why the daughter wouldn't get married in the church. We really need to have that discernment and arm ourselves with the armour of God.
