Francis Ngannou partners with PFL in biggest deal in MMA history, will launch PFL Africa

2023 ж. 15 Мам.
156 899 Рет қаралды

My next step in my MMA career is complete: I am officially partnering with PFL. In this video, I'll explain why I chose PFL, the difference between a fighters contract and the strategic partnership I have with PFL, and most importantly, our plans to launch PFL Africa with myself as Commissioner.
This is truly a remarkable day for me and my family, and a tremendous step in my journey to alter the landscape of MMA. Thank you all for the support and love!

    • When you turn things into a business... when religion or nations or social media is more important than true competition... everything loses its meaning and cheapens everything we do here. UFC needs to go back to true competition to Tournament mode... make a Tournament that lasts for 1 month and then the winner gets the true Title.... this is how it should be not some staged Dana garage fights... Connor, Islam... none of these guys truly deserved the title... why even call it Ultimate Fighting Championship... call it Dana stagged garage fights.... it is disgraceful to material art practitioners... The biggest reason why UFC is losing viewership... this Connor comeback is proving it all... it was always just a huge business and a bunch of stagged fights... people are beginning to wake up and learn the truth... not to even mention how social media is full of fake promotional accounts....

  • Jon Jones was quietly kicking rocks until negotiations werent working between Francis and UFC and then when it was clear Francis was sitting out to become a free agent with the intention of not resigning then Jones came out palnning to fight knowing Francis wasnt going to get what he wanted and would leave. Francis is the linneal UFC HW champion and changed the game with this deal. If he can crack open enough wiggle room to wedge PFL shows into Africa before UFC go over then they will blow up their viewership and be like what ONE FC is in asia but for africa.

    • Right? Jones quickly went away after Reyes beat him and monsters like Jan were calling him out after he decimated Corey Anderson. Jones then stayed away when Jan demolished that same Reyes who Jones robbed and then Jones spent 3 years away until Francis, who had been diligently improving his wrestling, cardio and patience, all things a majority of heavyweights outside, say, DC (retired), Stipe (older, battle worn), Pavlovich (not so much in the conversation at the time until more recently) don't have (e.g. Gane with less than no wrestling, journeyman brawlers like Tuivasa and Lewis etc.), stepped away from the UFC and only then did Jones make his move, knowing that Gane had 0 wrestling.
