I would honestly appreciate your review of those, should be basically be the Audeze Mobius, minus the bluetooth, but at a slightly cheaper price, but I am curious about the planar magnetic technology and how it translates to sound quality, there is some other reviews out there, but they are not you :)

  • Always interested to hear your opinions Oluv, especially on headphones I’m familiar with. I have the newer Pro 82s, the treble peaks are still there, but not as strong as in this video. Compared to my HD-650s they sound “bright”, but as you say you get used to it, and I like having different sound signatures in my gear. The AKG K361 costs TWICE as much as I paid for my Takstars, plus the cost of shipping, so in my part of the world it’s not really a fair fight. Still a worthy upgrade though, and the K371 (a touch warmer?) is on my wish list.

    • @med icine Do you always talk to people in that insufferable condescending holier than thou manner? i highly doubt you talk to strangers this way face to face, amazing what anonymity and keyboard can do to a person's civil demeanour, i am speaking strictly of what to expect in terms of sound, reviewers can't agree with eachother on anything, an FR graph is far better than most, also soundstage is just an illusion created by the FR of the headphones, peaks and valleys in certain regions give the effect of soundstage.

  • I feel the Takstar sounds way better (detailed even in the midrange) than the AKG's except it has that high end sibilance. More so than the pair I own. I have higher end AKG's and the Takstar Pro 80 AND 82. I found the Pro 82 siblilance really diminished after a lot of hours playing (as did the 80 with even less time) and the Pro 82 competes well with my AKG 7xx (and even more comfortable). I may try your sound foam insert trick that you used on the more recently reviews Massdrop HE4xx's. Thanks for the great reviews.

  • I sold mine but I liked it. The comfort is stellar (MDR1R rip off) and also this headphone had good soundstage. IMO the treble on the sound demo is too much, in reality the treble is actually quite smeered in the mid treble, but otherwise okay in level to me. However K361 can put more space between the notes and somehow has a more defined edge. I believe the treble issue was remedied somewhat in the later driver but I also had the 1st edition. I thought it was good for youtube, series, movies, stuff like that. But the texture was a little soft.

    @seemeslegit3765@seemeslegit37654 жыл бұрын
    • Pro 80 is nice if you like a v shaped response, really nice but with very narrow soundstage. both have crisp treble. The soundstage is better on pro 82 I use THE first neutral position on pro 82. The pro 82 is more neutral sounding until you get into the treble. Pro 80 would probably need a pad upgrade and no detachable cable. If I didn't get upgradeitis I would have been perfectly happy with pro 80 but I would say the pro82 in neutral position is better.

  • Oluv, You know I love your reviews but i'm going to make a suggestion for you and hopefully you will correct this repetitive action. When you do a comparison, i feel you don't really do us justice. When doing playback between two headphones you stuck in a single pattern where you will play the instrumental with one and the vocals with the other pair. To make it fair to judge can you switch it so each headphone plays each part of the song for a comparison? These headphones do sound sibilant and bass heavy but some people do prefer that sound signature that's why their called bass heads. Good review and i hope you can correct this in the future.
