  • Honestly Holly didn't have a chance against Kayla, that match was unfair from the start. I love Holly but she struggles against powerful fighters that can absorb her strikes (Amanda Nunes, Cyborg). Holly could have been 10 years younger and I'm sure Kayla would still win. Kayla's grappling is also too much for Holly which we saw in this fight.

  • I really like Kayla. She’s an extremely relaxed cerebral fighter. Watch her face in that first grappling exchange where holly reversed the hip toss and came on top. Kayla smiled. She was in the moment. So hard to do with all the weight on her shoulders. Unbelievable performance. Big things for her

  • First I'd like to congratulate Kayla on her win and her for speaking her faith and beliefs. Class act. I don't believe one fight should put anyone in line for a title shot on their 2nd fight, Holly is 9 years older and past her peak. I don't agree with dehydrating for weigh-in and rehydrating, especially when a fighter is putting on 15-20 lbs for fight night. Seems to be an acceptable practice. Weigh-in should be fight night at the ring. I understand there are not enough female fighters to fill all the needed weight classes. I wonder what Holly's weight was on fight night? Looks can be deceiving but Holly looked considerably smaller than Kayla on fight night.
