Depending on your monitor's refresh rate, set it as one above in fortnite, like, 144hz -> 160 fps in fn for the best performance, except for the last option (360)

Also you have to make sure you use a DisplayPort cable for 165Hz, hdmi for 144Hz.... I went from 60fps to 165Hz and wow...makes the games more enjoyable so smooth...

hz is the amount of fps your monitor lets you see, so 60hz would let you see 60 fps and 240hz would let you see 240 fps even if you can run 360 fps but only have 240hz, you will only see 240 fps if that makes sense, hz dosent increase your fps, it increases how much fps your eyes can see @@Dom..69-_-

make sure that your monitor settings are set to 165. it doesnt come set to 165 out of the box you need to manually change it by right clicking your desktop and going to display settings or nvidia control panel if you have it. because 60 to 165 should definitely be noticeable. i recently went to 165 and i noticed a major differnence.

Bro, the first time I touched a moniter with a higher refresh rate then 60hz, I was literally wowed, It was actually 165hz, but I got so impressed that I bought a 144hz moniter.

I'm going from 60 Hz to 265 Hz for my new gaming setup im buying, its 27" and its a bit curved but I wonder how smooth it's going to be because I've been on 60 Hz for the last 4 years and I'm upgrading my setup for the first time. I'm super excited to see how the monitors will look when I'm playing fortnite.

I'm looking at getting a 100hz monitor because I don't want to spend a lot but would I still have to be on 60fps because there isn't an option for 100fps

i played with an old ps4 from 2013 because of that i buyed my self an rtx 3060 ti and 240hz monitor in 2020 they are pretty old now they are 4 years old im planning to change my graphics card cuz no matter how good it is its 4 years old so i need to change it im thinking 4060 anyways you are really good at the game you deserve 360 :)

i just switched from 165 to 240hz and i thought 165hz was smooth, but 240 makes it look choppy a little. like he said, its like motion blur but clear

are you on geforce now or no if you are the you can go as big on fps as you want.
little tip you can make your games and stuff look better by going to your system settings and going to the graphics and change your hertz from 60 to whatever your monitor can hold
That is literally the only way to get 144 fps lol, it’s not just “making it look better.” If your monitor is set to 60hz and the game is set to 144 you’re still only getting 60 fps.

i went from 144hz to 360hz and that difference is not as huge as this, but it is still way smoother with 360. it feels like every frame shows and its buttery smooth

I switched to 240 hz from 75. Huge difference. I did. have some issues with the picture quality but then i fixed it. Love it now. It impacted the game i now play the most so much (geometry dash
