  • Respect to the camera operators when Yuto Totsuka had to be taken off after that fall - the camera zoomed out immediately rather than focusing on him and they focused on the crowd and the coaches and officials in other areas rather than on the athlete. Mad mad respect to not show him in what was truly an agonizing moment for him both physically and mentally.

  • Arguably the most memorable Olympic moment I’ve ever watched. Thank you Shaun for always being an inspiration to me. And congrats to Hirano for getting his. He is the future. After making the triple cork look easy, I can’t imagine what’s next for him.

  • Undoubtably the most nervous I've ever felt watching a sporting event in my entire life. They built this competition up so much and, against all odds, Shaun White overcame it all to deliver in the single most satisfying way possible! I'll never forget this fail gold of the greatest of all time, Shaun White!

    • Ayumu should have won the gold in 2018. well, it doesn't matter now since he won gold with the world's very first triple cork in 2022 Beijing and made history. Finally, the world saw who really is a TRUE KING of half pipe. shaun white was always overrated. Anyone who knows ins and outs of halfpipe, knows ayumu was always better than him, in terms of difficulty. FACTS. PS. I am not Japanese.

I miss the exciting games of Jean Killy and Billy Kid, even Eddie the Eagle is an improvement over Curling--the only sport I could get on Peacock with commentary to guide the viewer. Something is making the Olympics expendable.

But IOC doesn't know what is the present situation between India & Pakistan. India lost 42 army men in cowardly attack claimed by JeM terrorist residing in Pakistan. India is putting stern measures against terrorism sponsoring and supporting Pakistan. May better sense prevail in the world community and understand the sensitivity of the situation.
