If you’re being hyperbolic then I get it. It’d be the worst example you could possibly come up with, but the sentiment while not crystal clear, is apparent enough. With that said… in what world does It take a lot to give the G.E.D.I. (Greatest to Ever Do It) their propers verbally? Literally EVERYONE says that to Muhammad Ali. It takes the opposite of a lot to say it. Mike Tyson won’t even allow himself (or anyone within earshot) to as much as even entertain the idea that he was even in the same realm as Ali. If Brock Lesnar didn’t say that everyone would be ON HIS ASS about it and rightfully so. Lesnar accidentally used the word “weird” to describe the meeting/handshake with Ali and he IMMEDIATELY knew he fucked up. He stuttered and stammered because he knew just how badly he dunn GOOFED by not properly acknowledging Ali’s G.O.A.T. status. He corrected himself because if he didn’t that’d be his ASS!!! If he didn’t correct himself he would never live it down. Self preservation to the utmost! The only way it “takes a lot to say that” is if we are back in 2nd grade and it’s Opposite Day. The only thing that it would take a lot to say is if he said anything otherwise. Sorry, a lot of words I know. Normally I’d agree with you but.. Ali?? If Brock praises Ali like this, then I'm pretty damn sure that Muhammad Ali was some other breed.
It takes a lot to say that. Real sees real.
Ali??
