An imposter is someone pretending to be something else in order to deceive. If every team wants and tries to win football matches, then who are Spurs pretending to be? What message are we trying to deliver? And who do we want to deceive? Saying as a Spurs fan “we are not going to win the league” is a very different thing than calling Spurs “imposters”
That definition doenst work in this context. He probably means spurs arnt a good side/ title contenders. It’s not odd to hear imposters used in football but there’s no need to decieve or win just for pretend doenst make sense. I don't think he's giving us any credit for what we've achieved in the very short time Ange has been in charge. The table doesn't lie, buddy! The last few seasons, we've been absolutely turgid and within a couple of months, under our new boss, we're playing some lovely football, it's just a shame some deluded fans of other clubs refuse to acknowledge it. I disagree. Hussam’s arrogance about his team has returned after last season’s sobering effort. Savaa on the other hand has been restrained in his praise for his team & tries to keep the fanbase’s feet on the ground. I am surprised Savaa lost his cool with Hussam because he should just let the results speak for themselves t. I expect Arsenal to come away from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with the points but can understand fully Spurs fans buoyancy atm. We are 1/4 of the way through the season & you are top. I showed you that Spurs has 24 shots and 8 on target to Liverpools 12 shots with 4 on target. We had 56% possession in the first half and 65% possession in the 2nd half. We also had more clear shots than Liverpool and they committed 17 fouls against us.. Nobody can trust a word you say, and as for Hussaine, well, the fact show that Spurs outplayed Liverpool mate by quite some distance.

Husam says Liverpool would've beaten Spurs with 10 men. If his team held on for the draw with 9 men, that statement would hold a bit of credence.
Well he is going on the evidence that they had 10 men and beat Newcastle who play similiarly to spurs currently.
And Spurs only scored due to a lucky own goal at the very death. So they did hold on with 9 men.
Spurs are not pretending they are going to win the title, they are just playing good football.. and just happen to be top of the pile, not imposters,

If it was any other big club that had the 11 men vs 9 men, they would score 5+ goals since other big clubs would know how to break a low block with the other team having 2 less players on the field. That should be a simple advantage for Spurs yet they struggled with that advantage until the last minute. That tells me Spurs aren’t good enough on the attack.

I will say a lot of rivals fans talked about Arsenal last year. I will say this in defence of Spurs fans. This is the issue. I'll explain liverpool for 5 years them and City were the only show in town last year Arsenal showed up and now to be fair Spurs are riding the wave. Hassam is going on Liverpool’s doggedness this season. It did feel like going down to 10 men made liverpool more dangerous on the counter and they had just beaten Newcastle with 10 men as well so his confidence in his team is warrently. On the other hand, Spurs have probably been the most consistent team on the league so far, Arsenal/City/Liverpool not free flowing yet so they are rightfully where they are for a reason. That’s not saying they are going to win the league, when they lose Maddison we will see how the team reacts. Both of you are righ in some sense tbh I am a Liverpool fan, and I think (can't be proven, but I am pretty sure), that we would have won that shameful match. Our second string team seems better than Spurs on that match (not talking about all their matches though, as every team can have a bad day).
