AMD to Intel : Hey Intel you've dropped something. Intel : what is it? AMD : Your performance.

and then Linus Tech tips is Dropping the Threadripper

Intel: what can we do about this? Staff: Do a 50% price cut on our 9980 Intel: we can't do that... Our fans will know our insane profit margin Staff: Sell the same thing at 50% price cut and call it 10th gen?
Hummm!!!!! Nice catch here boi.

such atrocity
AMD is hitting intel really hard
Tell me about it man
It's just the 3970x.....they have 3990x in the arsenal
I Always Saw That Amd Is The Future!
Dat Boii I hope they make better GPUs and fix the current ones, I personally haven’t had any terrible driver issues with my 5700xt like black screening or anything like that, however I do have a few nitpicks of the card, like how in the new modern warfare in ultra setting and TAA 2x rendering the game at higher resolutions like 1600p gave me more FPS but after the new update I now get lower FPS in 1600p rendering, and even in games that aren’t demanding like Minecraft run terribly because the Radeon 5000 series isn’t well optimized. Tbh I’m excited to see how the next gen GPUs will perform, and might go nvidia next time if they drop price enough, but we’ll see, competition is is great for a consumer
bardok obama I just hope they can keep it up. Intel has been holding back so they can have steady progress for years. AMD is forcing intel to move faster, but if AMD has a slow year or two of releases intel will claw back the difference
And then intel released the i9 10980XE... Which was a completely pointless refresh of the 9980XE, great job AMD
No, it had a point. It allowed them to slash prices by half without technically lowering the price of an existing product, something they have been super stubborn about not doing.
I think the 9980xe was faster than the new 10980.
That's a big scam from 9980xe to 10980xe its just the same thing with price cut.
@@JonasBergling Even with them slashing their prices it still isnt a competition.
AMD, do you need to make these videos? Everyone knows that AMD is superior
AMD has to rub it in. It's the best type of marketing.
That isn't true. There are still many people who are not well informed about the current market and think "Intel has always been the best, therefore intel is still the best". However, they do already have the terminator video and the red camera video. The only difference is showing a competitor "side by side". Not that experimental constraints have been placed. Also the two people there don't seem to know the market or what they are using very well either.
@@benxgaming3484 AMD will do that to Nvidia similar things maybe in a few years... Nvidia is finally pressured to be cautious but also scared of having to cut profit margins to compete. Also remember that Unlike Intel and AMD, Nvidia's business solely rely on GPUs, the only 'CPU' stuff is the Nvidia Tegra chips which is used in the Switch, but in the future that may change as well (once APU progresses to the point where it's better than Tegra chips at cost per performance, to the damn cheap cost of Tegra chips because it's a massive failure. Nvidia's AI and Datacenter business is just that, quite easily taken away in due time by AMD's Threadripper and workstation focused brand that just came out a week ago. You won't see any changes today though in terms of competition, it'll be a few more years before the positions change. AMD actually got really good talented people in the CPU and GPU side of business, the problem was the management of those talents. Perhaps soon Lisa Su will call for a restructuring of the company's inner management of their company to root out the bad ones.
i enjoy these videos i work in in 3D so love seeing this stuff
Well better than smiling.... And you know those chips exist unlike some intel benchmarks...:p Actually those rubbing videos always make me happy. Its sort of the old gamers culture: "come there is only one way to test who is better. Leave your BS talk at home it wont help you on a duel:)"
AMD: Rrenders a whole planet intel: I see your window and i want to paint it black🎶🎵
luchete11 i think its bad to show rendering performance. Rendering 3d stuff is the best on the gpu. The baking is the interesting. I want to see how good it is in baking physics

@@lucas_vlanc Sure its for FHD, 1440p and especially 4K are GPU limited, but its faster and win is a win. AMD is not really that cheaper now, especially for non gamers that not need GPU but do work on their PC, they can grab any Intel and have video out. Also at the lower end, 3400G is same cost as 9350K, intel has no HT but the clock is faster. Also INtel has options below AMD prices, 9th Gen Pentium with 2T/4C and even cheaper Celeron
Amd: we want you to have creative freedom This guy: am gonna make a solar system

Intel struggles with tetrus on 480p
@@jacquesbuys1354 you know something, it doesn't matter if amd runs crysis (a 13 years old title) off a cpu or not, because that won't do a damn thing in any modern ish title. (Also why will you buy a 4000$ cpu to run a 13 years old game with some really bad performance if you can get a sub 100$ gpu like a rx 570 which will run anything modern decently enough?)
Having bought one for myself, this beast of a processor makes a life difference for multitasking in 3D and simulation. Loading a scene with 15millions polygons isnt a struggle anymore like it was on a dual xeon workstation. Rendering and compiling is blazing fast. The limitation you had yesterday are now removed today. And this is great.
Dear AMD, Don't stoop to Intel's level. Pretend like they don't exist. Don't throw mud

THANK YOU Dr. Lisa Su!!! 😎
I think for the foreseeable future, until there’s some huge shift in what computers do, a casual consumer can currently get as much power as they need (Facebook, web browsing, writing documents, light gaming, general photo/video editing). It’s good to see there are still advancements being made that will continue to progress high end gaming, 3D real time rendering, 4K+ video work to the next level 👌👌

Any idea of the keyboard the man is using at 0:25 with the strange scroll wheel at the top ?

I was excited with first gen but I didn’t actually think they’d be competing with or beating Intel across the board within a couple years. Getting into 3D rn with third gen Ryzen and OptiX existing is pretty awesome. Upgrade time in a bit!
i used a X64 years ago, the experience was great PC boot much faster, things were smoother but it just gets hot fast. i was not versed with PC hardware that time. then i used intel for that reason. now its the right time to go home.
Wonder how all of these would affect content creation and game/movie development in the upcoming years.
*Amd kills intel* Amd: call an ambulance .. But not for me😎
Massive flex on Shintel
Can't wait for big Navi to take on the higher end 5700 XT is a really good card, but I want to see AMD back on top again for performance honestly and BETTER DRIVER FOCUS, also more optimization when working with specific applications like Intel does with those developers since that's the only thing they have going for them

Do industy pros really do raytracing with the CPU?? Press X to doubt
why is it comparing a Work grade CPU to a consumer Grade one? Should not it be compared to 64 core Xenons?
hey ,AMD you beat it
What GPU are they using 🤔
This is really a video stating to my mom why I need Threadripper
Yes rub that salt in real good to those intel fanboys out there. Been really annoyed when people tell me intel is better by single digit score on benchmarks etc...
Which is great -- for synthetic benchmarks. The rest of us however live in the real world indeed.
@@forkless you mean those intel real-world numbers where they show percentages for 3d software on laptops :') intel has always been pushing cinebench until they got their asses handed to em :')
now ik the threadripper isnt designed for gaming but for those more savvy, does this thing basically guarantee never having a cpu bottleneck in avg gaming. like not forcing it with tons of entities
Are those 3d rederings from the new Dune movie?
I just brought a 3600 😅
Funny thing is that at its price point it is a beast of a CPU, so good choice.
The absolute best bang for your buck.
$160 for a 6 cores beast.

It looks impressive. But can I run 7 days to die in 4k and max out everything in the graphics setting and still get over 60frames?

Intel days are over, I am very happy when Ryzen Line of processors came & saved AMD now Intel market share have dropped since then. It's good to have competitors (AMD & Intel) so that we the costomers get benefit.
This is weird when what benchmark shown is entirely different with actual implementation. I can say that benchmark tools is actually create for intel only
Guys rather tell me how much geometry can you throw on it on sculpting with dynamic topology & mirror. Well rendering doesnt really compete. For 700gbp I have two 1080ti...

Seriously It's a True Fact..AMD CPU Come Back on 2017 after 2012 now simply wiped out Intel so Efficiently..And Now They are Just Unstoppable..Iam Using AMD Ryzen 9 3900x paired with nVidia RTX 2080 Super.. Performing together Like a Power House..Thank You
even if wasn't speed, it still as that sheer amount of cores behind it ... its insane performance, intel its so far back it's not even a competition anymore, hope amd can do the same to nvidia but i have my doubts, nvidia saw the storm coming and got ready for it, so when we get new amd gpus they will reveal their new 3k series to combat it.
Real World User Need Real World Power That's It..No Hype No Bar Chart Just Pure Performance 👍
The perfection of the angles on the face of the guy with the glasses...
shame you didn't use the thread ripper to render the audio in this video the bit rate is so low.
