  • I just rewatched every episode of Top Gear all seasons and then grand tour completely for the 3rd time. Please don't ever Stop. If there is any show so immensely vivid, funny, exiting, knowledgeable, adventurous and entertaining on this planet to have been ever made... It's this one. The Grand Tour must always Go on. It's is an epic story about friendship, playtime and love for all things 4 wheels. It's a celebration of God's best works, to contemplate the mysteries of his creation...... It's never a Terrible disappointment. It is THE BEST SHOW ever.!!!! The legacy that these three created, the hilarious banter, the carefree insults, Damn it...!!! This is the Best❤️

    • Massively expensive and certainly not enough energy to power a few EVs parked outside, which is what you need to make it economically viable as an add-on business idea to entice the gym to invest.

    @jaystepp150@jaystepp150 Жыл бұрын
    • Is it interesting? Because most people I imagine will say its rather stupid. The idea could work if you wire up EVERY machine in the gym and then store it all in a massive battery. Even then its a massive amount of money spent upfront, maybe if the gym itself is powered by the device it would make long term sense. The video itself was stupid, and in line with the petrol only message they always send.

  • Take a look at the new solar powered Aptera. With the full solar panel option it can charge up to 40 miles a day in the summer. You can also plug it in. Battery sizes up to 1000 mile range. I will only need to plug mine in about 2 or 3 times in the winter. I ordered the full solar panel option, AWD, and with a 600 mile range battery. 0-60 MPH in about 4 seconds with a top speed of over 100 MPH. Expected delivery around summer 2024

    • There are cars on the road that were built 50-60 years ago... Lets see where these electric appliances are in 50 years... Electric cars are consumable goods. 5-10 years lifespan before being turned to scrap.

    • @@thebolsta I plan on driving my Aptera in the winter here in New Hampshire. It won't rust being a composite body. Rust is the car killer even with regular washing. The under side is enclosed so no dirt build up under the body since there are not any body panels. I expect it will last me 15 years, easily.

      @johninnh4880@johninnh4880 Жыл бұрын
    • @@johninnh4880 You can't even get a washing machine to last 15 years these days, and don't even mention PC's for longevity. Good luck with a car...

      @thebolsta@thebolsta Жыл бұрын
    • @@thebolsta You do know cars can be repaired right? ICE cars also don't last very long. All cars need regular maintenance and replacement parts every once in a while. Electric cars are even cheaper to maintain because there are less moving parts. The big question used to be the battery but by now we know that they last more than a decade and still function so that question has been answered. The next big step that is being implemented already is battery recycling. I know of some battery recycling plants but right now they don't have a lot of work (other than research and testing) because the first generation of e-cars from the 2000's are still going strong.

Their combined effort using fifty thousands pounds of equipment produced 21 amps per hour, or a total of 168 amps.
