@@banme2784we don’t have proof of that. All we can go off of is what Elon said. Plus with how he described the issue it could have just not been charged correctly or at all. Not to mention all vehicles do eventually have issues with some vehicles that are produced.

Obviously you didn’t watch top gear then... Because years ago he chose the BMW i8 over the M3 in S22E4 .
Elon Musk revealed in an interview that the Top Gear episode was scripted. Before Jeremy even received the car they planned to have it "break down" away from a charging station. Just fake drama. Elon wasn't happy about the script making the car look bad but Top Gear got away with it by claiming "we're just entertainment not a factual source on cars."

Back when I waas a teenager in the 1990s I used to go to the 1/4 mile strip with my brother in his hotted up Holden Panelvan (that had a lot of customization, ford 9" diff, holly carby, twin exhausts and a bunch of tuning, and after he thrashed some guys Torana, the dude came up and pulled a knife on him. So my brother backed up and knocked him down with the car. My brother was bit of a madman back then.

The wing doors can actually open in very narrow spaces. This is honestly a pretty poor interpretation of what this car really is.

The biggest selling point for a Tesla and one of the main reasons I bought it is for its safety rating… because the heavy battery packs are at the bottom it is almost impossible to roll… because it has no engine it has a huge crumple zone that absorbs energy from head on collisions… the airbags completely encase the driver keeping them from being thrown around..
I literally bought a Tesla after watching this… that’s how much Jeremy’s fans trust his judgment… and you know what I love it…
He would never own one though. Too many drawbacks.

I missed out on most of Top Gear. I did become acquainted with The Stig (and would've been awesome to see him come out of the R8), but on the other hand, on the few episodes I got to watch, I never saw a _"fill the car with lawyers"_ part. That was hilarious. The whole review was awesome and Jeremy looked like a kid with a new toy - a clichéd yet perfectly suitable phrase 😀 Cheers!

It's good that technology has advanced to such a stage that you can draw a knob on the car dashboard. We used to only be able to draw those in the dirt on the back of a Transit van.

The lawyers were called in because Tesla sued BBC for defamation and damaging their product image when Top gear reviewed one of their earlier models and were accused for deliberately staging a run out battery, and manually pushing the car into their shed, while the battery never dropped below 20%.

Sithika Gardi right there aren’t many ways to justify buying a model S/X over the model 3/Y unless money really isn’t a concern to you. Basically paying double the price for slight advantages when you actually break it down. I have no problem with anyone getting the more expensive, luxury models, but for anyone who can’t spend 90-160k on a car, the model 3 and Y are perfect for what they offer.
Summon is a gimmick until you need to get in from a wheelchair and some tosspot has parked too close...
Totally not a gimmick! And if you live in a large open area, like a farm, you can leave it in a safe place and summon it to your doorstep!

@@patmull1 2nd and 3rd. I am not sure how far back the front passenger seat can move back and driver seat to the front, creating a gap to be able to pass through to the second row and get out that way.
