How to install Jeep Wrangler Aux Switches & Rubicon Locker Buttons
In today's video, we are installing a Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT Z Automotive AuxZiliary Kit, enabling the use of OEM Jeep Wrangler Aux Switches and Rubicon Locker Buttons. This kit is designed for Jeep Wrangler JL Sport models and above that lack factory switches, enhancing our 2024 2 Doors vehicle's capabilities. Another advantage to the silicone wedding ring I've been wearing for over ten years now. It also eliminates the possibility of "sleeving" my finger when climbing up and down my the helicopter.

For the backlighting on the DD lights, don't use an aux switch if you have the aux switches from the factory. In the interior aux wire bundle by the glove box they provide a switched via ignition, as well as a direct to battery, 10A power wire. Ignition is the pink/orange wire, direct to battery is red/white. Fuses are F50 and F72 respectively. This of course is 18-23 MY, not sure if they changed that on the 24's.
Hi, I got a 2033 rubicon 4 door, love it. Been watching your channel for a while and like the advice you give. The thing I would love to improve on the jeep is the turbo lag I think or it might be throttle response, not sure but it’s a bit annoying when there is a pause before it kicks in. What would you advise? Appreciate any help at all.

Great Video, Question: the front rear locker and sway bar switch for Ryan's Jeep, does he have electrical hookups for this or are you just filling the gap with a stock-looking switch but will be assigning the functions to lights or other electrical devices. I have a 2024 Wrangler Sport S and was curious if that functionality is included but not connected I hope my question makes sense Thanks again for all the great video content, wish you two success!

Hearing that they buttons are not backlit with this kit, is that still true?
Nice find. I am assuming that this is just turning the locker switches into AUX 5, 6, 7, 8 and you would be able to lock the rear (in your example) in 2WD or at high speed. If so, what would you suggest to add a safety step to ensure lockers are accessible off road. Other aftermarket switch banks have a "power" or "lock-out" button so there are two steps to get the lockers active. Been looking at this for a 2018 sport (no power windows)

Maybe I missed it but where does the new module connect with the stereo etc screen so that you can access the switch control preferences.
The adapter box goes behind the HVAC controls.

It works well just for that, I just like that it uses the stock switches!

random question but did you guys ever cut 4 door rubi rails to fit Ryan’s 2 door? I remember awhile back that was mentioned? only asking because I wanna buy some second hand to make fit on my 2door 😂
Nah we threw these on right before we went wheeling, didn't have time to shoot a video.. They are made for 2 doors. We have some long term plans for side steps soon!

Hate to sound like that guy, but if you're planning on adding Rubi lockers and sway bar, why didn't you just buy a 2dr Rubi? What would be cool is if you could've have gotten custom buttons with that instead of having them "Aux 1,2,3,4". Six years in for the JLs and I'm really suprised someone hasn't made custom buttons for the factory switches. Cool install video.
