Just a thought, the storage tray on the passenger side grab handle. While it doesn’t get in the way of the airbag, anything sitting in it becomes a projectile when the airbag is deployed. Especially a cell phone.
Something to think about!
I have one in my Gladiator and I think they mention that in the handout that’s with the product.
This is very true.
Thanks for the heads up. Had not thought about that.
Never knew I wanted something to block the rain so much.
Thanks for doing all the Amazon research Matt. Enjoyed the video. I'm always looking for more storage in my JL. I already have the counsel storage bin and love it. After watching this I'm going to order the trays in the back by the tail light roll bar. Thanks again, love your channel!
Thanks Tim! Glad you liked it!
I have the center console tray, it was my first mod, and love it. I am considering the grab handle tray and the one for the side of the center thingy would’ve nice if the compartments were a bit longer towards the seats. Great review, love your videos.
Appreciate the kind words, glad you liked it!!
Great job! Hadn't heard of several them. I have a Firecracker Red JLUR that I got the Molle bags for. Very useful. Took a red Sharpee pen & colored all the white trim edges on them to match. Looks cool!
Thank you! I hadn’t seen some of them either!
New to the Jeep community! Just purchased my very first custom built 2023 Rubicon and I have to say… it was only because I watched a ton of your YT videos. Thank you!! It was just delivered yesterday and I’ve already ordered a lot of your Jeep Amazon items!! Items I never knew I would need!! YOU ROCK!
Awesome! Enjoy
Matt! Great overview and glad we found you again. Thanks for making life easier for us heading down the trail!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great video, and thanks for doing all the hard work of reading reviews and finding the best one! I just bought 4 new items now for my JL that will really help out, especially that Yeti holder. I have one of those coffee mugs and now I can take it on road trips!
I’m glad this video and others helped you out! It’s what I’m here to do!
Totally awesome! I been looking for some of these! Sweet!!!
Thanks for watching!
Grabbed Handle Cubby - love it. When I plug in my phone for carplay navigation - the grab handle cubby is great place to put the phone to keep the wired out of the way.
Great tip!
Hi Matt, great video. We need more of this type of video.
You got it! Stay tuned for tomorrow..👀
Just bought my first jeep yesterday and I am so excite to add on some of these great finds you are sharing! Love the yeti cup holder!!!
Awesome! Welcome to the Jeep community
I like the trays in the back, especially the metal tray. The dual tray over the hump would be in the way of my leg and CB on the passenger side. The tray behind the cup holder blocks part of the rear cup holder. The door drink holders are redundant, the JL already has 4. The grab bar tray itself doesn’t block the airbag, but a phone or anything of any size in that tray does, and I don’t want that disrupting the 200 MPH fury of an airbag deployment, or launching a phone at my body or face. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Read for knee relief!! That console tray with padding stuffed in it makes a WORLD of difference if your knee rest on T case shifter.
Out of all the great info here, that Yeti cup adapter is the greatest find!! Thank you!!!
I thought so too when I found it! Your welcome!
They all are great but the last one is must have.
Hey Matt, great video, I have the front door cup holders, my leg sits up against it and it can get uncomfortable. Also the front console twin bin hits my leg. Now I am 6’3” so it could just be me. My wife loved both of them
Thanks for the feedback!
legit mods. Thanks dude.
Thanks for much!
good information 👍🏼
The Yeti adapter took my heart away. Thanks a bunch.
You’re welcome!
I think in the past two days I've watched all of your videos. I purchased some cup holders and wasn't happy with the fit- this one that will hold the large Yeti- which I carry every day- is awesome. That will be my 1st purchase from your list- thank you!
Thanks for watching Kathy! Glad to have you here!
Fantastic I'm definitely getting these items for my JL 2 DOOR!
Right on!
Love the cup holder and the grab handle tray… I will be looking to add this to my 2011 JK Extreme Recon….great video..!
Thanks mike! Let’s see if they fit your jk!
Great video! I have already bought a couple of these on this list but never heard of a few of them that I will be ordering asap
Glad it was helpful!
That spot behind the rollcage is a perfect fit for my rifle case
Good spot for that!
Hey Matt! I recommend the cubby tray console first then your middle counsel after because every time you want to lift that try it'll pop off.
Good idea!
Nice video! Thanks for the links!
Thanks for watching !
I want the inside console tray just because it has a coin holder. I love the Yeti holder too. I have both Yeti cups and Stanley cups so it’ll be great for both. I have a 2020 JL 2-door, and these will be great! Thanks!
I love these! I have my 2023 Willys ordered and I already have an Amazon wish list in the works
Awesome!!
I use the 2 tray also as a gun holder for my pistol. I run the holster clip inside the tray and push it back closer to the seat. I prefer it this way because the gun is facing down vs other mounts where that gun goes under the steering wheel and face towards your feet or door.
Nice! Not a a bad use for it
The grab handle tray is a great idea, except for the fact that anything put in there is now a potential projectile if the airbag ever deploys.
Interesting point to bring up!
Good video. Really good video. Thank you for the content
Thank you for the kind words!
I just got that center console tray myself and really dig it.
Awesome! I liked it!
I have a number of those plastic storage containers and they're always full of something. The console one that hangs off the front I have in both my wrangler rubicon and my willys gladiator and for some reason I had to trim the piece down just a tiny bit on the gladiator to get it the top of the center of the console to close properly, but it works fine after that small tweak. All in all it adds a lot of really useful storage areas to the Jeep especially upfront. I don't use it for the phone and electronic because I have the bullet point mounts on top of the dash, but for little notes, candies, whatever, those little storage cubbies have been very handy.
Tons of storage is great!
I don’t even have my Jeep yet, but those cup holders kick ass, I just ordered 2, we use hydro flasks for water, and those things have been a pain in the ass, thank you for this!!
Awesome! They really work well!
I have the first 3 mods. Made nite fir the others , Thankyou !
Awesome!!!!!!
nice vid - I picked up many of these - but never knew of the rear wheel well compartments, pretty cool
Thanks for watching!
I have a few of those accessories but you showed some that I really like. Enjoying your channel, glad I subscribed. 👍
Thanks Dennis, appreciate it!
Also just received Gear Shift organizer - microfiber. Problem with my two door - seats don't move forward, cant access the rear seats. Glad I don't have to glue it - fits so nicely that I can easily remove it to move the seats. Also makes it easy to clean. Great addition.
That’s interesting! Glad to have you here!
That yeti cup holder is gangster!!! 🤘🏻👌🏻
Can you maneuver around it for the gear stick, you think?
damn now you got me buying all this thing for sure getting the yeti cup holder i have same issue with my cups hand't thought about looking for something like that thanks for the links to all the products
😂 sorry to hurt the wallet! Hope you get some use from these accessories!
Great content man! Your channel is going to skyrocket, I called it first 😎
Thanks Devin! Appreciate the motivation!
I love my cup holder. That was the 1st accessory I had to buy.
Good call!
Many thanks brother for sharing your experience with things you buy for your jeep personally i benefit form your videos Thanks again 👌👌👌
Glad to hear!
I need that yeti adapter!! I didn’t know that existed thanks!
It’s awesome!
That Yeti adapter is great - I have the coffee mug and that would work great! Yeah Ryan works for you too!!
Lol Ryan needs this one!
very nice and practical
Some are really good I think I will couple of them thanks for the video
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it!
Great review.
Thanks mike!
Nice vid man. I ordered the glove box tray and console tray for my JK after watching this. Love them, now I don’t have my phone, wallet, and other things laying in the passenger seat anymore.
Nice 👍
Well done. I just purchased a 2022 Wrangler Rubicon. No offroading just a daily driver.
Thank you! Enjoy the jeep!
I cut the nets out and replaced them with metal molle panels from a company called Off Camber Creations. Cheaper version of the American Adventure Lab panels. Added some $15 amazon molle bags to them, and they look great. The company even powder coated them to match the mojave trim for me. Best part is they don't hit my leg while driving like the door cup holders do. Definitely a pricy upgrade, but a but once, cry once kind of thing.
That’s neat! Do you have a link?
@@DIRTROADCRED tried to link but was deleted by KZhead apparently. The company is an etsy seller, so that may be it. Not sure.
Didn't go through all the comments to see if someone already said this but... I had both the "center console inside" and the "center console front" but they do not work well together. The center console front still leaves you with some storage space underneath it, so it's pretty common to remove it if you need access to items that are deep in the center console. The problem is that when you need to remove the "center console inside" (which still leaves storage space underneath it), the "center console front" is going to be in the way. I ended up leaving just the "center console front", which I found to be more useful.
Good call, glad to have the opinion!
Absolutely right. That's the reason I didn't tape the outside one on to the console. I don't remove the inner one all that much but still want to have the option, and when I do, I can just pop off the outer one because it isn't taped.
So I got both also and have to get into the inside often. So I actually used snips to clip part of the tab off the outside holder. That way it’s taped down secure and I can still lift out the inside center tray.
Do you have no problem applying the handbrake? In my car with "center console front" this is impossible.
Like this keep doing more 👍
Thank you!
After trying multiple eye fone holders, I found the Wixgear magnetic car mount works well - install the thin metal piece between your phone and case, install the round magnet on the closed side of the air duct to the left of the radio (or any other air duct). The magnetic is thin enough to turn the air duct around but, of course, air flow from this duct is blocked by using this mount. For me, the mount between the cup holders is too low for viewing and the mounts off the dash are just too high. Now, I wish there were mods like this for my CJ!
Great feedback! I think we might try to see what we can find for every generation!
@@DIRTROADCRED Thanks! My '86 CJ still has the original console with way-too short cup holders. Then again, leaf spring suspension and open containers in cup holders don't really mix!
You definitely are a natural, keep up the interesting work. FYI, whenever your kid is big enough to have his/her seat facing forward, he/she will beat the crap out of those molly bags with his/her feet. Just a thought. Also, the grap handle cubby.... My sister in law had her cell phone fly out of the Jeep during a quick tight left turn with doors off. So the anti skid strip in the bottom of these is a must. I have it in mine and it doesn't seem to be a problem, but my brother forgot to put it in his Jeep. Cheers.
Thanks for all the tips! Very much appreciated!
I have almost ever single one of those. The are very functional.
Definitely!
I like the concept of the large water bottle holder, only problem I have a manual.
It should still work for the rear cup holder!
If I find anything that works I'll let you know.
Speaking from a Gladiator owner, all were great except the “saddle bags” …no better analogy. Those dug into my calves. Great video. Cheers.
Right on!
I have the two pocket thing that goes in front of the gear selector, the one that goes in front of the arm wrest, and the one that goes above the rear wheel well behind the roll bars. The front two pocket thing is alright. I use it to put napkins on the passenger's side, and a charging cord for my phone (my girlfriend's charging cable plugs into the one in the arm wrest and she has an iPhone and I have an Android, and hers is way more often plugged in when we are on road trips). The downside to this one is that if you are taller, your legs will occasionally be resting on it, especially if you are just sitting in your car while not actually driving, and even more so when you are reclined all the way. It is not that annoying to me, but I can see that being a deal breaker for someone. The one in front of the arm wrest doesn't get much use. It is convenient every now and then, but it is empty 99% of the time. I have a bulletpoint phone mount for the driver's side and passenger's side, so my girlfriend and I both keep our phones in that, or if it is a short trip, then we don't even take them out. The downside to this one is that if you have a large cup that fits in a cup holder on the bottom but extends outwards, it will not fit in the rear cup holder if you have this. So if you and your passenger both get big gulps, one of you will have to hold it in your hands. For normal size drinks, it is fine though. Most normal sizes of cans and bottles will fit, the medium sizes from fast food places fit (probably some of the large sizes too, depending on the chain you are going to) will also fit, and just anything that goes up straight and does not expand outwards at any point will fit. The one that goes in the back above the wheel well behind the roll cage is very convenient for when you are on a road trip or camping. On a normal day where I just go to work, or even on a weekend when I might be driving somewhere, this pocket is empty. But I have used it quite a bit on longer trips. I would recommend this one because it is not taking away anything. After watching this, the one behind the seat will be a future purchase of mine and the grab handle one as well. I could see both of those being useful and not getting in the way of anything.
Excellent comment, loaded with real life use and I appreciate that!
I’ve always wanted a jeep and found a ‘14 jku on carmax which I ordered Friday. Soooo excited! Looked at some of these products as well, nice to see in action. Checking out all the videos, the only thing I’m still having a hard time understanding is how to offset the wheels, what all is needed. Don’t know if I can or should just go to this jeep shop down the street from me, show them a picture of what I’m wanting & let me tell me, I’d hate to get ripped off cause I clearly don’t know yet what I need.
Video for offset coming soon!
The Center console saddle bag storage bins in front of the shifter does not work on the 2-door. When you release the seat to slide it forward to get into the back it hits the storge bin on that side knocking it loose. The Door cup holders are amazing, but..... you must be taller because if the seat is moved forward for shorter leg reach when you shut the door it hits the cup holder. Mine hits on the second closest setting.
Interesting feedback, much appreciated!
Awesome! Ill get some of it! Super cool!
Awesome!
I bought a thousand pack (I think) of alcohol wipes for fairly cheap. Lasts forever and you'll always have the wipes for mounting tape.
That’s a great idea!
The best accessory is to f@rt with the roof down ... i do it all the time ... really brings out the usefulness of the jeep
😂
How do you shift gears with the yeti holder? Cool video. I also bought some small bags to carry my recovery gear in. I have to keep the jeep empty though to reduce theft. Hood lock best mood to save battery theft.
I would put it in the rear for a manual, for an auto it can still be done!
Can someone post a link to a grabhandle tray that fits a 2024 4xe Rubicon? Having trouble finding one that fits
Wish I got the Mopar floor mats, especially for the back passenger in my Rubicon. Mine have pointy nubs that scratch when I take them out to wash! 😭
Those are sharp! I love the rubber mats !
Hey, great, informative video! Can you fit a standard water bottle/drink in the second cup holder with the big yeti adapter AND the front of the console phone pocket in place?
Yes you should be able to!
That transmission hump saddle organizer is right where my fat knee rests. Definitely a no go for this big boy. But the one that hangs out of the center console…that’s going in my cart
That’s awesome!
I'm guessing you can't fit two YETI Cup Adapters, correct? Do they fit in the back center cup holders well?
I just got a couple of those items from Amazon yesterday
Awesome!
Cool mate
You guys should look into Bulletpoint phone/gopro holders, well worth the investment! I have used it in my older JKU and my new JLU, 100% worth the investment!
Bulletpoint is a sponsor of this channel!
Bruh...I need ALL this stuff!
Its all awesome!
I need to know how to get the front cup holder console rubber insert back in; I took it out to clean but can’t get the lip back in
Shoot not sure
The yeti is cool
I think so too!
My favorite interior mod is the Tuffy Center Console Security Box. With my soft top I can’t go arming the bad guys.
That’s a great one!
... nice video, very useful !!! Is there anything like "Retractable Rear Trunk Cover" for Jeep Wrangler JL? I could use one to hide my gear and other things, luggages, etc. under it.
Thanks Marc! Let us do some digging
Problem with my 21 Gladiator are the stiffness of the seats. Having herniated discs on my back from a car accident, makes my back ache. But still love my Gladdy
Time for a seat upgrade!
@@DIRTROADCRED indeed
I've seen these on jk Jeep but doing other mods but man these are a must . Now dash one that rubber holder I'm on fence with . But these what I call value mods worth investment now question dose add value for trade in ?
Not too much value for trade in, more just convenience while owning!
Hey, thank you for doing this! Sorry if somebody already asked this, but will two of the yeti battle holders fit at the same time?
Haven’t tried it, it would be close!
Hey, great video and review on the mods but… what’s the model of your sunglasses? Thanks.
lol I’ve actually been asked a lot, they are the ray ban Justin !
@@DIRTROADCRED Thank you!
No problem!
Awesome products and review. Fun video! Could you provide links for products in the future please? Thank! :)
All the links are in the description!
I'd like to see how the Yeti cup holder sits Hydroflasks.
Might have to try it!
Is there room to add 2 of the yeti holders? One for the driver and one for the passenger?
There should be if you offset one of the holders!
I need some kind of a sun visor organizer, any suggestions? TIA. 😊
😉
I’m sad that the hardtop metal Molle shelf is no longer available!!! 😢😭💔 I really wanted it for my Jeep!
Yeah it stinks, they sold them all out quickly!
My problem with the holders that go down where your leg is, generally dont work for short people. my wife has to move the seat forward all the way and none of those work. Would have been nice to see if the seat adjusted with the item in place.
Which holders are you referring too)
@@DIRTROADCRED The ones that sit near the gear selector and have pockets on either side. You had the one in the video that sat just in front of the gear selector. When these types of cubby holders are in place and the seat is moved forward it hits the holder. Doesn’t allow for the seat to be adjusted closer to the steering wheel.
Hi! Great video, I have one issue just wondering if anybody else is running into. The rear cargo storage doesn't work with the Sky Onetouch. The bolts aren't in the right place. Know of any workarounds for this?
Thats interesting, something ill have to take a look at!
Any suggestions for a phone mount, I'm looking at the bullit brand I think and something like 67 designs? Any experience with either one?
Bulletpoint is a sponsor of this channel, they make excellent products!
Those cup holders are amazing , I have 2 up front and I love em! Holds tight and doesn't bounce around while off roading
That’s awesome! Glad to hear!
I’m starting a new drinking game. Gonna take a shot every time “3m tape” is mentioned 😂
Anddd drunk
Hi Matt, My metal Molle storage container came with a little bracket and two nuts and bolts. It mounts fine in my JLU using two of the hard top cover torx bolts. I can’t figure out what the bracket is for. It did not come with a diagram or instructions. Do you know?
Little bracket is for other models, I did not have to use it!
With the grab bar tray; what happens if the airbag deploys, looks like the passenger would eat the cell phone?
Those saddle cubbies in front of the shifter are useless if you have a 2 door they prevent the seat from sliding fwd to access the rear seats mine ha dit when I bought the jeep immediately choose to remove it
Interesting observation on a 2 door!
Any recommendations for flagpole for 2023 rubicon JLU
Might need to do another mods vid
I didn't need to watch this video. It made me want to buy a Jeep even more. I still don't know if I can depart with my MK6 GTI. I keep talking myself out of selling the GTI for a manual Rubicon. They're each so different yet each so cool in their own way.
LOL im sorry!
you should have check leg space after installing those black container items, that would be more useful comment to hear back, any feedback on these? also the door cup holder
Good idea!
@@DIRTROADCRED then i am waiting for your feedback about leg space and confort, especially for driver..
