‘Nothing is leaking! We have a winner!’ - new Home Built T-shirt slogan right there, mate! Well done and congrats again on some great Aussie content
I drove a GTV with a 200 hp 3.0 Busso V6 in it and it accelerated like a muscle car. With double the hp, handful will be an understatement. Can’t wait to see this thing really unleashed! Congrats Jeff! Btw, the plexiglass hood engine view is stunning.
Build one grand prix 2.5.. gtv is awsome car...
Gtv6 is an all time great
What a win! So happy to see it come to life. Still things to do, a bit of PDR, bit of interior, nice tune and it will ready for adventure!
Yep. Getting close :D
This thing will be a blast to drive. Rear suspension looks way soft though - spring rates probably need a considerable lift.
If you have to paint the engine window from the outside anyway, you might as well paint it yellow and silver to match the bonnet since you hate the black bezel. Congrats on the first drive!
I'm almost sad to see this adventure coming to an end. All of the episodes were a joy to watch, you built a true dreamcar. Massive respect to you and the mrs for sharing. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to the next project. Greetings from the Netherlands.
You could make the polycarbonate window into an air scoop…….Best video on the internet today, love it, love the excitement and achievement……..”it runs, it runs and it cools” 🤣🤣
Brilliant idea!
@@BMW_G81_M3 not really, heat exchangers need a pressure differential to work efficiently. it's not a good idea bringing a lot of air behind a radiator. Different thing if it's used for a top mounted intercooler like some oem car do.
Maybe just a louvre to let hot air exit the engine bay..
@@alessiocarlevaro6934 aaah, good point, thats why i am not a car designer :)
An x pipe and shorter mergers would make this exhaust sound even better.
It has an x pipe, but it is not necessary on flat plane crank engines ;)
This car is amazing and I've loved watching the build. Hats off to you. Have you considered having a vinyl sticker made to cover the hood window edge to save painting the outside of the polycarbonate?
I was thinking the same thing.
Me too 👍
Ya the woman who did my company logos can match the colour by printing a sample then you just check and pick a different yellow if not. Sure someone in your area can do it. An the cost is not bad.
@@cannednolan8194 I was more thinking just black like the surround is currently. your never going to match the look of the yellow with vinyl, but a gloss/satin black? easy.
Wasn’t Jeff an airbrush artist? Why not paint the outside in body colour with minimal masking req for the stripe also? I realise the paint on poly might not finish exactly as the body, but it’d look epic
Hard to believe this journey is coming to an end - congratulations Jeff, enjoy your masterpiece!
Jeff I love this car but most of all I love seeing how excited you are when you have successes. can't wait see the dyne run and for the horrible sound to be gone of the tail shaft rubbing LOL
Jeff, you should rightfully feel extremely proud of what you have achieved. I’m sure every viewer of your video will have a huge grin to match your own. Can’t wait for the dyno episode.
Jeff as the owner of a 360 the check engine light will haunt you for the rest of your days.
Thankfully I don't have any of the Ferrari electrics so it shouldn't be too much of an issue ;)
...years building it, spitting gravel everywhere backing it out of the driveway the first time out. I love it!!!
Snappy RPMs. NSW looks beautiful this time of year.
Normally I am pretty well spoken but what you did here I can't find the words. This car is already the most beautiful car design in history and your version is the ultimate in every way. Ferrari engine? And then taking thousands upon thousands of people along for the journey with a 199(!) part video series?! I just stand in awe of your achievements my friend.
Congratulations Jeff. It's been a long road to this milestone but its been a great watch for us! Looking forward to seeing the dyno setup and subsequent drives to see what a monster you've created.
Don't forget to trim the shroud around the drive shaft. But a amazing build, great work.
Out of all the cups of coffee we've had together over this entire build this one is the best!! Congrats and I can't wait to see this baby ripping in the wild. I think I for all of us that have been here since the beginning please don't forget the cameras when you drive her!❤❤❤
Maybe it's just me, but I love this part where all the little refinements happen...the engine tuning, the suspension tweaks, creature comforts and all the icing on the cake. Great to see the genuine emotion from the first spin around the block!
Can't wait to see this thing roar and spin the rear tires. I can't remember how long a have been a subscriber, neither why i subscribed. Though you have came along with this car. Nice work. Greetings from Greece.
This dude is not a master builder, he is a frikin monster builder.
What’s to say! I’m sitting here watching you with a smile a mile wide on my face. Genuinely thrilling to watch.
That is the high we are all chasing!! Amazing. And it’s so great to live on a private road 😂
so happy for you mate. never been a huge fan of Alfa's, Ferrari's or yellow cars, but this car gets a massive pass on all 3, its a beauty of a car. looks like the 200th episode will be the dyno, nice.
So cool to see this thing finally on the road!! I remember the first time I saw this car was on the rotisserie as a bare shell. It’s amazing to see the work and dedication come full circle
Congrats Jeff. We all watch for this very moment.
Fantastic job - love to see how excited you are at achieving such an important milestone! Congratulations 🎉
Love your enthusiasm, congrats on getting a drive. Just such a great build to watch and finally see you drive it.
The stuff that dreams are made of.. I cracked out my best headphones when i read ‘first drive’. Been anticipating this moment for a long time. Sounds fantastic. Jeff you are truly talented. This is by far my favourite YT build
Jeff, im following you since the day you bought the rusty Alfa. You are one of the most honest YT content creators. You'll make the best Alfa in the whole Milky Way Galaxy. Greetings from Croatia.
Like a 4 yr old at Christmas. Congratulations both of you.
May i suggest painting that black edge in the yellow and silver to mach more with the bonnet ;) ? It looks and sounds amazing and it seems to be FAST :O I am so happy for you, your enjoyment at the end was great to watch. I hope you will be doing another project like this in the (near) future because it is absolutely amazing to see what you (can) do!!!!
Love that you show the true trial and error of working on cars bro, amazing little machine you have there.
Congratulations Jeff! I bet there is a lot of pulling your hair and maybe a bad word or two between the episodes that we don¨t get to see. But I am so impressed by your stamina and dedication. It is a master piece of a car, even before it is fully sorted out and will be an eye candy where ever it is seen. Great job!
Congratulations Jeff. The Joy on your face when there was no leaks, everything was working and that noise😊 i actually think with the work you've done to the exhaust it sounds more cultured than a 360 which really suits the Alfa. Looking forward to seeing this Scream on the Dyno but i bet you'll be a Bag of Nerves😅
I feel your relieve and passion. You don't get many moments like that - I know - well done Jeff!
She's a beauty! Absolute ripper job mate!
Incredible job! Even just coming in at the end now as I’ve done it’s obvious your tenacity and will to succeed is off the charts. Looking forward to going all the way back to the start to see this miracle machine rise from just the bits!
Been here since day 1. What a transformation. Good work Jeff!
Scrolling through the interwebs here in the US and see your thumbnail and said: "Finally, some news. Excellent."
Congratulazioni from Italy Jeff (and Mrs. Jeff): I have been following this from the beginning and you deserve a BIG BIG BRAVO for that!!! Looking very much forward on how she drives and, maybe one day, to see her in person (I mean the Alfarrari).
You should use Sika primer 209D on the backside of the bonnet window, and then reglue it in place. Should leave a nice glossy black paint on the backside of the glass and no ugly black paint on the outside. Thanks again on your tip regarding the yaris steeringbox you gave me a couple of days ago! Found it😊
Great video Jeff,so close to being done. Thanks for sharing
You, sir, are a man of many talents. Incredible build, I've got to check out the dyno session if you've already posted it.
Jeff, you'll need a copper washer under that locknut for the cam sensor and a bit of thread sealer for the nut on the sensor shaft. Otherwise, it will leak oil.
Driving video says it all. Props.
I know we all look forward to Fun Facts with the Mrs. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Great job man!!!
Hey Jeff, Congratulations man it's a car. BUT it's time to concrete your driveway. So thanks again for sharing your journey. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham 3810.
That bell housing rub though, get it flared properly. Awesome job.
Awesome work. Looking amazing. Have watched this build from day 1. Awesome
Thats the best Alfa on the road by a long way! Masterpiece dude! Congratulations!
I 3D printed some small plastic caps to seal off live 12v studs. Made the end towards the wire slightly to small so it clips nicely onto the wire and stays in place.
Good Morning Mr & Mrs Jeff. Its Sunday, it's time to drive a alfarrari... Finally. We'll done.
When I owned my 1971 Alfa GTV, I went to see a red GTZ that was for sale near me. The car fit like a glove. Didn't have the money at the time.
Your excitement was palpable. I was actually giddy along with you. Congratulations Jeff! 👏👏👏👏
That friends, is what a multi year project car builder seeing the finish line looks like. Pure joy. 💛
Congratulations! It's been a long road but you've done it!
That is so great to see it haul down the road for the first time, it looks and sounds amazing doing so! You sure deserve the giddyness of the maiden voyage after all the amazing hard work, so happy for you mate! :D
When the leak is just a loose fitting, it is such a great feeling! Having to disassemble SUCKS
Relatively new to the channel, but wow! Love the raw emotion that comes with small and large victories. Don't go changing.
Jeff, that yellow is just a beauty.
Man I am so happy for you, can't wait to hear that beast on a dyno.
Congrats on the cricket Jeff! This build is the most legendary thing on KZhead! What a crazy idea and only someone as committed as you could pull it off! Legend mate!
Hi Jeff just came across your channel awsome build mate very well done.
Congratulations on a major milestone!
Thanks mate :D
Jeff this is such great news, well done fella. Love your reaction to your drive.....builders everywhere know that feeling !
This car deserves a paved driveway…
Jeff you have done a stunning job on the car. A couple of suggestions or observations. As a 360 owner I dont think that exhaust design is maximizing the sound that engine can produce. It would also be awesome to have a second bonnet that has that engine poking through without a cover- for show purposes of course.
you deserve that drive, what a journey! well done Jeff 🎉
As a fellow GTV owner, I have watched with great interest from day one. What a weapon. Bloody well done mate, and can't wait to see the beast stretch it's legs on a track.
Exciting times ahead, well done, what a beauty! Perhaps address that driveway next 😜
Thanks to share your build and this crazy story. Your work is incredible , you’re a genius. Marvelous idea and transplantation. 👍🏼
What a brilliant feeling for you mate. It's sooo good when all that hard work comes together and pays off. 👌 Looking forward to that feeling when I get my project finished. Well if I ever find the time to get it to the finish line.
So happy for you and to see it drive at last!🎉
Hey guy, you made me smile, seeing you so exited, brilliant 😂
Magnifico , un abrazo desde CHILE. amo los ALFA ROMERO Y mejor si es con un motor FERRARI , te felicito has hecho un hermoso frankestein. ja ja de verdad un bello auto. UN ABRAZO. 👍
I can feel the joy Jeff, a ton of work is paying off. You can tell that engine loves to rev and just imagine the power when it gets in it's power band! going to be nutz
Congratulations, Jeff!🎉🎉
Huge moment! Congratulations! Cheers from Texas
What a gem. That shot of it driving on the street almost looked like your car was in colour driving through a black and white film with all the mundane cars parked up
Amazing project! Great how you solve all problems you bump into. The looks are really good! The stance, wheels, and the flares really turned out great. Much respect! ❤
Nice work Jeff, your best car is that yellow, the alfarrari is amazing ❤
Well done, Jeff. Your joy is truly merited. In fact, only a 7-day traditional Kenyan Safari for you and Mrs.Jeff could be needful after such a valiant effort. Karibu Kenya.
Oh, Jeff, that sounds so good running on all cyclinders! Love your persistence in tracking down all the fiddly bits/problems. So glad to see you driving that on the road.
I love your enthusiasm about it driving. I've always intended to watch your videos on this since finding you four years ago, watched a few vids but this is awesome. It's a great feeling when it comes together finally.
Congratulations Jeff!! Been watching this build from day one. And now to see it actually drive is so amazing. I'm absolutely stoked for you! Now to the final few percent that will cap off this build. It's gonna be quite a beast with all that power. It's also looking really good. One peeve I have is how much the roll cage is showing through the windows. The silver/grey is quite prominent
Congratulations Jeff. I have really enjoyed the journey so far and look forward to seeing what is next.
Great achievement Jeff not only are you very clever but patient as well. Looking forward to your next project.
Hi Jack, you did a splendid job on the Alferrari. Compliments!!!!
Fix that driveway Jeff! Congrats mate certainly going to be a sweet ride when its finished.
Great to see you smile and jump during feeling your sucess 😊
Congratulations! I’ve enjoyed this build so much!
Err, ill have you know 25° IS a hot day thankyou very much! (You're just trolling the brits there dude 😢) 😅 She sounds bloody lovely mate, always amazed by your resilience
Well done Jeff. You should feel very proud mate.
Congratulations, Jeff!
Sounds incredible!
That, Sir, is a noble project.
Absolutely love the sensor fix. Absolutely amazing. Great work well done 🇬🇧
Congratulations. Sweet ride you built. Always better when you build it yourself.
Congrats Jeff! What a fantastic milestone! Can't wait to see what power this thing produces at the flywheel!
