i see the comparison and still think it's a reach in both cases. however van nistelrooy was the more complete striker while henry was close to perfect with his specialties. i think henry had a way better mentality, ruud appeaered disconnected way too often. imagine if he weren't such a hothead.

I have utmost respect to my friend Thierry and highly rate him as a player and person. It was surely a tough debate between us but we both tried our best throughout all the seasons. I do personally think that Thierry is a better player than me and he would put up a challenge throughout all those premier league seasons.

PL 01/02 season: Henry scored 24 goals in 33 games = 0.73 goal per game. I do remember as a Man Utd fan in those days that this was a legitimate debate. Now, looking back, I feel insulted on Thierry Henry 's behalf that this was even a debate. Back in time Henry was more of a complete player than Van Nistelrooy. No argument with that at all.
