1080 is more just to show the capabilities of the cpu without being bottlenecked, which all other gpus will do.
Lol just bought a 4090 for a 1080p 240hz screen but will probably upgrade my monitor afterwards to 1440 144hz or something that gpu was so expensive so will wait a bit until I upgrade monitor though 😅

People who are competitive and don’t care about a more pixies to have a better image if you want get oled monitor I play on my lg c1 on 1080 even tho it can do 4k it look very good and no need to pump out more pixels for better graphics if you got oled

The power usage on the 14900K is insane! Other channels only show it using about 90-100w, which is weird as people like gamersnexus state they draw over 300w at time. Appreciate the video.

I undervolted to -.1 and clamped it to 253w short&long. Works great..Temps stay in 30s at idle 50s-60s while gaming..with xmp Enabled of course.

What is wattage during games for you?
@@HUNmotyon in cod multiplayer it stays between 115w - 130w.. i havent seen it go past 200w in some other games .i changed my short to 300w and kept my long at 253w .. i even put my llc to lvl 4 and temps are still as good.

@@slickrickwillyjamesif it's crashing id rma or return it within the warranty period. Don't want to waist warranty time messing around. Now if you don't have a warranty I'd test the GPU in a different PC or swap a GPU into your PC. If that's eliminated maybe it's a ram issue with an xmp profile.
you should try double data rate 5 8000, if your integrated memory controller can handle it

It's perfectly safe. Just turns your room into an oven, but here in the UK, gas prices are through the roof, so it has saved me some on heating bills 😅🤣
i play actually like 3 years with my RTX3070. It´s a really good Graphic Card and made a good Job. I upgraded last year my Hardware to a Ryzen 9 5900X and like it. I know it´s not the best Gaming CPU actually at the market, but good enough for me with 2 Monitors. The 4090 is actually a dream for me. But the question i have is, a friend from me goes from his 3070 to a 4060. Is this a Upgrade or a downgrade? By the way, i love this art from Videos

I am curious if you are running your cpu in oc mode? My i9 14900k clock speed in game never goes above 4.4ghz. Temps are fine 50-60c, tried different cooler modes water cooler pl1 and tower pl1 with no change. Any ideas?
Tbh, I think it was something to do with OBS. Since changing all the settings, it seems to run better. It's still quite hot, tbf, but not melting anymore, lol. They'll be an upload soon with the changed settings and an explanation. Thanks for watching
I applied an undervolt of 0.05 which is stable in game and hard system demand which dropped the temps a good 15c. I just can't figure out why my clock speed is only 4.4ghz in game, even without the undervolt. Yet yours is running at 5.7ghz :')@@BenchmarkGaming01

@zenlord09 My E-Cores should be running at 4.4, but for some reason, MSI overlay is only showing 4.3 and I'm not to sure why.

230W cpu really ? Turn off hyper-threading and drop the P+E cores by 100MHz (-100Mhz) and lower the voltage. Crazy consumption and temperatures.
Yeah, I will mate. I just wanted to show people exactly how it performs straight out the box. The consumption and temperatures are crazy. Hits 100°c easy even with a 360 AIO.

If you have a ASUS Motherboard there is setting which have to be disabled…because its overvolting ur cpu…by the default it is on many people got atleast 10c decrease
Were you over clocking? Mine was around 60-70c for CPU temperature.
No, i think it was an issue with OBS since changing settings. The temps are better. I have another video with it going head to head with the 7950X3D where temps are more stable.

Yeah man if ur pc ur gonna build throws lets say 250fps if u only have 144hz u aint gon get more than that, so if ur gonna buy a really good pc, i eould recomend buying a good monitor too to get tha most out of it👍

@@jayr.1523 yes! 4070 ti and 4080 super are also good choice, i would recomend u go chech out ”usernenchmark” on google and look at the stats of the graphics card ur getting✌️and from there choose, and also would highly recommend at least 165hz monitor. But 144hz works too. All about how u want the game to feel, just recebtly built a pc w i9 14990k and 4090 and gaming on a 165hz 3440x1440p , everything looks real good and smooth💪
I have a 4090 and I have one monitor that’s 138hZ Asus 48 inch and the other is Samsung G9 240hz so you can play all games in whatever format you want and fps. The 4090 is worth every penny I barely play my PS5 anymore

@@BenchmarkGaming01 No need to apologise. I think most people who have 4090 would want to have RT on. It is more fair comparsion to other games who do not have RT. On 4K i think DLSS would need to be enabled in order to have decent FPS.

The Corsair H150i elite is what's used here. With 10 Corsair 120mm fans. It's a very hot CPU tbf.
As for the Witcher 3 at 4K I have tested it on other videos on my channel.

I've got similar performance maybe even better on 4080 i13600k. Your rig must be miscnfigured.
Nope, the cpu is thermal throttling with a 360 AIO, this is everything out of the box. No undervolt or overclocking. Just how it all runs put together out of the box.
I did overclock my cpu and ram, managed to take the CAS latency down to CL-30 and others respectively.
@pzemyslawmazur5329 Yeah, I just used DOCP on the motherboard. My Ram is at 6000MHz CL30. Other than that, everything is standard for testing purposes. My 13900K runs a lot better then the 14900K tbf. It isn't a very good cpu IMO.

for a 4090+i9 14th gen I'm not particularly impressed. let's say that you can play almost all games in 4k but it is certainly not an overkill as has been described, in the end we hover below 100fps for the most recent games... estimating that a similar station costs around $4000-5000 I expect to play in 4k 60fps at least for the next 2-3 years but something tells me that this won't be the case given that it's already below 100 fps for many recent games. most likely it's not worth it...

After seeing this tears started coming i have an i7 laptop with Rtx 3060ti and in FH5 in high settings first I get 120-144fps then the laptop heats and Boom! fps drops to 50 not even that the CPU rises to to literally 99 degrees its absolute nuts
I think something's wrong here. I mean have ryzen 7 laptop with RTX 3060 and it does not thermal throttle that much. Try lowering maximum processor state from 100% to 95% in advanced power settings maybe it will help or you can try buying a cooling pad. I sometimes lock my temperature to around 83 degrees celsius without sacrificing too much of the performance using Ryzen Controller software, see if anything like that exists for Intel too.
