Not sure if you've watched the harris chain boat crash where the 2 guys were telling other anglers to close their eyes before leaving the lock and running full throttle in a no wake zone (clearly a rule violation). Had one of the other anglers spoke up and said "yall run that no wake zone I will protest you both" that accident might have not happened. Doing the right thing is not always easy but at least you're man enough to do it! Good job and God Bless!

During a local open tx, I was fishing down a bank and came up on him poled down on a bed. As I got about 50 yards away, he had given up and turned the bow away to keep fishing, looked up and saw me, turned right back to the bed on 100 and completely blew it out. As he passed by I asked him about it and he just shrugged it off and said meh, she’ll be back shortly. Long story but that was 100 percent dick move and I haven’t spoken a word to him since.

We let people get away with stuff hand over fist and when someone stands up and does the right thing they are the one that gets wrecked. It's sad but it's so true. Why do you think bullies get away with so much in our schools today because the kids that tell on the cool kid for doing wrong get crushed.

Not only from a conservation standpoint, but also as a tournament angler fishing the same tournament you witnessed a blanton, intentional, deliberate act of unsportsmanlike conduct. He new what he was doing was wrong when he did it. What he did was wrong on both levels, and a obvious violation of the rules. I seen his post and I'm glad he was man enough to admit that he was wrong, and he admitted to doing it, but you were 100% in the right. There was absolutely no sense in doing what he did. There is a reason for the rules, that everyone has to,(or is supposed to) read, respect, and abide by. You did the right thing.

  • Things like this make me so glad God pulled me out of this trash, called modern day tournament fishing. I was on Toledo yesterday in patroons with no clue there was a Toyota series going on. I don’t keep up with this stuff anymore, not worth my time (someone sent me this subject which is why I’m looking into it, they know I use To be personal friends with Andrew) When an angler pulled right on top of where I was fishing without even speaking to me I had no clue he was in a tournament. When I finally figured out, he was fishing the last day of the Toyota. I immediately got out of the area. But besides that the angler still pulled right on top of me, literally I could throw my rig in his boat. That move by him was enough to call the tournament director and have him DQ getting all over my spot being disrespectful. In 20 years, I never reported anything to the tournament Director I always felt it was Not My place.,. God will judge. Absolutely incredible what this sport has come to, it’s sad. I was part of it for 20+ years people now have no respect for anyone anymore but SELF. Most likely Andrew was in the right just because I know his character….. Judgment is coming soon get ready God is about to make haste against everyone that’s not keeping the commandments. And I can promise you anyone fishing professional is not keeping the commandments written in Exodus chapter 20. As for Andrew I see where he did nothing wrong from a tournament standpoint but in the eyes of our creator we are doing everything wrong by breaking his commandments with our worldly obsessions
