    • I like stim more than grapple tbh With grapple, its simple: grab a point and swing from point A to point B. With stim its more complex to get from point A to point B: you gotta stim while wallrunning, then chain in some bhops, into a wallkick, etc. Thats more fun to me

    • @@GioVortex that is a gross oversimplification. There is slingshots which are the most generic but require good timing, but then you have all of these small movements you can do with them, and it’s a whole balancing act of keeping your grapples charged. The skill ceiling is higher with grapple, you just need time. You still need to bunny hop and wall run to play well

    • I find it funny. This game was never intended to have a campaign, or at least not much of one. The game was intended to be mainly multiplayer with little to no lore put in place. I hate that the game was overshadowed by CoD and Battlefield, otherwise, people other than the diehard fan base would’ve gave it a chance a lot sooner

  • In another universe, Titanfall 2 gets the release it deserved and you make it big as a titanfall channel. You’ve got the love for the game, fan of papa scorch, you know MRVNs are awesome, etc. So cool to see someone with a large fan base geek out like this about one of if not the best FPS games out there.

  • The weird texture/video glitch (whatever you wanna call it) when he’s out of map happens because usually what is displayed is multiple pictures being drawn over each other but if there is nothing drawn over the picture in the previous frame because there is no background then you can see whatever isn’t covered in the previous frame alongside the new one

  • so at 24:20 that called "Hall of Mirror" or "HoM" that because texture are not added there, cause "normaly" you dont have access to this zone, so devs doesn't apply texture to lighten the rendering of the graphics card since you are not supposed to see this. therefore the void which is not textured reflects the last image being entered in this "void" field which gives this "mirror" image effect which we then call "Hall of Mirror"

  • The speedrunning programmes usually scan the current memory usage to see when a load screen is active, which in many cases pauses the clock until you have control over your character again.

  • 15:30 in lore its technically thermite and thermite-ignitable gas, not fire. And the titan that kit is for is Scorch, a big lumbering Ogre-class titan with thermite resistant plating. He's an extremely fun titan to use in multiplayer.

  • If nobody has mentioned yet, the software is attached to the games memory and checks for certain triggers in memory. That's how it switches and stops/starts splits.
