That Carbon Cub is nice but it totally defeats the object of cheap flying in the ultralight category .....300,000 Dollars 😅
It’s an expensive ultralight but a low cost Carbon Cub. There are plenty of low cost ultralights still available
The Junkers is actually less expensive.

Flexwing microlight there, but not anything thing lightweight or reasonably affordable in sight

I wish the video had less time spent on talking heads, more time on aircraft and related systems.
It's just disgusting the quality difference between these "microlights", that look and fly exactly like any plane, they're just lighter, and CS-23 planes that most of us fly that are 30y+(more like 50+) old. What an utter fail from a broken regulatory system. I don't know how any regulator can look at this and say with a straight face "Ah yes, everything working as intended.."
