Furious Hyena Mom Fights Off 17 Wild Dogs!
Hyenas get a reputation in the media, and it’s mainly because of their role in the lion king. However, mother hyenas are no different than any other mother. They will come to the rescue no matter how many enemies stand against her and her child.
This poor hyena cub was being approached by not just 1 or 2 wild dogs, but a whole pack of 17! As they came closer, she stood her ground. Even the cub stood near her, ready to defend its mother! After much chasing, the dogs decide this is a dead end since the mother hyena was ready to rip them to shreds.
Brave Turkey Mom Fights Off Deadly Cobra
You’ve seen ducks fend for their young ones, and now you’re going to see a turkey defend not just her own chicks, but other abandoned chicks too! At first, she doesn’t notice a King Cobra making its way to the chicks. When she notices, she immediately starts guarding and shielding the babies from it by collecting them in a corner.
Foolproof strategy. But it’s a snake, it’s not going to be afraid of a bird…until it starts pecking! After repeatedly pecking at the serpent in the head, the cobra realizes this fight just isn’t worth it and starts to make its way out of there. Usually, snakes like to eat young chicks, in fact, that’s their preferred meal, but after getting pecked at so many times, it knew death was certain if one more step was made.

  • Mammals and birds are the best when it comes to protecting and taking care of their young Reptiles just abandon their young or some are nice enough to guard their eggs and the offspring are alone when they hatch. Crocodiles are the only modern reptiles that actually take well care of their young. Some amphibians guard their eggs, but as soon as they hatch they abandon their young. Some fish also guard their eggs, and some species of fish like *mollies* eat their young. Insects just lay their eggs, and leave. Unlike most adults, that die after laying their eggs and there is one species of spider that actually feeds itself to it's babies. Crabs reproduce very quickly and they take advantage of that, by eating their own young. So other animals should follow the lead of the bird, and mammal parent. Also, what happened reptiles!?!? You used to take advanced, and excellent care of your young! ...Well birds are technically reptiles, i guess their the only reptiles that take care of their young. I hope you learned something new!!!!!! 😀😀

  • Those are not ducks those are Canadian geese with their goslings I used to befriend a pair of geese who had a clutch of six and I know how protective Mama can be
