I truly think that leg kick Amanda threw at :28 was what changed this fight. That kick out cyborg off balance and Amanda took advantage of it and landed those 2 clean shots, and it was evident they hurt cyborg. That leg kick made this finish what it was

It was three punches actually. Landed the leg kick, and followed up immediately with the 1,2,3 combination. The fact that it landed so clean caused Cyborg to lose control of her ego, and as she HAD to get Amanda back, Amanda stayed composed, and was able to land her combinations at will.

Covid can mess up your cardio for a while. Maybe even permanently. I still get winded randomly for no reason and drop from walking short distances out of nowhere and I work out a few times a week. Two incredible fighters. Amanda doesn't needs any introduction, I'd put her on top 5 P4P ever. But Chris is also a hell of a fighter, 90% of fighters (including male) would drop dead on the first punch, she got 4 or 5 of those and was still shooting back. Probably her mistake was getting too close, too greedy and too confident.

Luck punch, the only reason why it was a first round TKO, is because Cyborg tried to trade power punches to early. She didn't feel Ananda out. They should have honored her request for a rematch but they didn't, it is what it is at this point. Cyborg not getting a rematch is ali not getting a rematch against Frasher, Tyson against holyfield, and so on. Cyborg is one of the female MMA greats with that being said she should have been entitled to a mandatory rematch.

I truly think that leg kick Amanda threw at :28 was what changed this fight. That kick out cyborg off balance and Amanda took advantage of it and landed those 2 clean shots, and it was evident they hurt cyborg. That leg kick made this finish what it was

It was three punches actually. Landed the leg kick, and followed up immediately with the 1,2,3 combination. The fact that it landed so clean caused Cyborg to lose control of her ego, and as she HAD to get Amanda back, Amanda stayed composed, and was able to land her combinations at will.
Cyborg was known to full out attack if she got tagged. She found at that wading in against Nunes is a really bad idea and got humbled.

But Chris is also a hell of a fighter, 90% of fighters (including male) would drop dead on the first punch, she got 4 or 5 of those and was still shooting back. Probably her mistake was getting too close, too greedy and too confident.
