  • Navy Corpsman here, thank you all for these types of videos. This shows the raw emotions that soldiers and military families have to endure. These are the better and best moments for these soldiers, that is coming from experience. There was nothing to match the feeling of seeing my Mom, Dad and sisters faces when I came home. Thank you to all that support.

  • Approximately 385 days ago my Grandpa passed away after years of battling Parkinson’s disease. He was stationed in Nuuk Greenland, Waukesha Wisconsin and I believe Germany as an army soldier. Grandpa I miss you so much and hope to see you in the afterlife. 🙏 RIP Grandpa Greene 1943-2021❤❤❤

  • The thing that surprised me the most is that most of the soldiers coming home weren’t crying. They must be very strong people not crying after seeing their family after months of being in life and death situations.

    • During Basic Training were taught to not lose our military bearing. That can get someone killed in a combat environment, it does help for these types of surprises tho

  • Can you imagine coming home like that and you have put such a impact and love into another person they break down in tears of happy to see you after being gone for so long? I can’t even imagine Now go even further another person that isn’t blood like a spouse or significant other..it’s sad I only remember one time when I was dating my x wife had been dating for a year and I was away in another state for a couple months and when she saw me she ran and jumped on me and wrapped around me. It was the greatest feeling. That was the only time I ever remember that happening or the euphoria of like wow …
