India, Egypt, Brazil, Iran, South Africa, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates should be in Chinese coalition since they are part of BRICS+
Brics is only an economic alliance, and even then could you barely call it an alliance. India for instance would never fight a war side by side with the chinese.

+ If BRICS actually became a alliance, Brazil would get out of it anyway, since the government only supports BRICS for economic interests with China, and expansionism isnt in the priorities of the government
I think overall the countries that are in each coalition are rather accurate and reflect situations in BRICS such that: Egypt and Ethiopia disagree wildly on the use of the Nile and Egypt has said they’ll support Somalia if Ethiopia recognises Somaliland India and China have numerous border disputes and have undergone clashes on the border Saudi Arabia and Iran are both competing for influence in Yemen still despite Iranian victories in Iraq and Syria over Saudi and Saudi victory in Bahrain and Kuwait. While they have reproached slightly (in part thanks to Chinese mediation), they disagree fundamentally on who the Arab world should align themselves with. The UAE remains a close Saudi ally alongside Oman, Jordan, and Egypt. South Africa has aligned closely with Russia and China now, conducting military exercises with them, refusing to condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and taking Israel to court over their invasion of Gaza. My only gripes with this simulation would probably be: Brazil might not get involved on either side, seeing it as vastly more profitable to court both sides Turkey and Hungary, while part of NATO, are untrustworthy states and probably will refuse the call to arms Thailand joining the Chinese coalition here is strange. While Thailand is no enemy of China, and they’re important trade partners, Thailand is often described as being part of the US sphere of influence, and certainly is culturally.
