I've Wanted To Clear This Line For 2 Years! - Progression Session At The Boise Bike Park

Kyle helped me work through the last two features on the blue line at the Boise bike park (Idaho). This line has been a big goal for me since the park opened at the end of 2019. The wood lips are what scared me the most on this line, but I able able to knock them off on my own. Then I surprisingly got stuck at the last wall ride. Which is what we focus on in this video. I am so thankful for Kyle helping me through it, because it ended up being the most difficult feature for me on this line! It is fun to see how Kyle coaches me through this and the process of me overcoming the fears to finally get through the line!

  • I hope you guys like this progression session, I am so happy to finally make some progress at this park. I got stuck on the green line for what felt like too long and I was losing my motivation, I am so happy I got to step it up and unlock a new line for more fun here!

  • Zero people at the park = bonus. Great facility with time to session, incredible natural talent on 2 wheels, pro coach who is dedicated and patient, and just happens to be one of the most skilled bike handlers of the day. Love to see the success.

  • Nice!! Watching her progress on that feature is really cool. Kyle is SO good at breaking it down and pointing out what is happening and what you want to happen. Great coaching. That coaching ability is what really hooked me on this channel. April did fantastic on that wall. I love her helmet. Great video you two!!! I feel like things are getting back to where they should be…big sigh of relief and satisfaction!!!! I hope you two have a great rest of the weekend. ❤

    • @@AprilRideMTB no problem! The video was about April’s progression so it’s totally fine. I loved the part where the video was side by side and one was Kyle looking up on the wall and one was kyle looking down, it really painted a good picture of how much where you look changes where you go!

  • this is awesome to see April out conquering some of her fears and transitioning through the course!! Kyle you look great hope there are absolutely zero lingering effects from the VAX that you got a while back Just a thought and doesn’t seem like it would bother anyone with higher ramp riding skills, why not just fill in the landing area with dirt to make it smooth and not have that rear wheel bump launch potential?? I understand the entrance having a little gap prior to hitting the wall but anyone that’s up higher on the wall will already jump and land past that gap transition on the other side so instead of having it be potentially dangerous and bucking somebody(begginer-ish) as they’re leaving the wall on a lower angle it would just be safe all the way through it’s not gonna bother anybody with speed on a higher side of the ramp because they’re going to be well beyond that transition point so it’s not even necessary and would be safer for those that are hesitant as April is in the beginning hope that makes sense but the transition gap on the opposite side is totally unnecessary and would not be missed by anybody like Kyle‘s ability because they’re already passed that area as they leave the ramp from a height standpoint just my .02 looking great April, congrats 💪🏼💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌟
