It's like you're riding a choose-your-own-path rollercoaster
That's exactly what I was thinking!
frrrrr
do those exist and if so where, if not should we make one
Except theres a roof that is less than a meter from your head
@@joelforeyan424 just like a dark ride lmao
This is an outstanding invention for a theme park. Kudos for the engineers, architects, designers AND the riders. The concept is simply fascinating.
I agree, I wonder how profitable it is.
I stumbled across this video read your comment, and just had to watch it 👏👏
Exactly!
This was amazing! I would definitely invest in building more of these everywhere. And I would have these things open 24 hrs! Imagine a place riders can go to even at night
@@pnoyryder68 Amazing idea but It will not be so cheap.
They need to franchise this, and have it in locations around the world. A lot of cyclists both young and old would love this!
It might be something I try once but def not regularly. The whole point of biking for me is to feel the air and be in nature
They really need to
Would love that!
They had one in Syracuse New York that closed down because they didn’t have enough buisness
@@4realjacob637 agreed, plus the biggest drop was lame; this park is for 12 year olds at most
Dang he was so close to her I thought he was gonna knock her off most of the video
Agreed... it honestly made the video less fun to watch.
yeah, not sure why she was in front.
I know he was close to her but in reality he was probably a bit further away. The reason to why it looks like he is close to her is the Fov of the camera he is using. But I will agree that was a few times where he was actually really close and nearly hit her.
@@TheShadowXI he did hit her at one point and says "oh you're good" like it was her fault... 2:18
@@TheShadowXI There were times when he did hit her. That's why people are saying he was too close - he was too close, and made contact more than once.
its amazing that places like this still exist. we need more of them. this place has had so much work put into it. its a piece of art, a very very big and intricate piece of art, but one that you can have immense fun with. i hope they stay in business until the end of time. serious respect for the people running it. :)
Interactive art is the best type of art. It's meant to be played with, enjoyed, not just admired.
It seems like this should be expanding, especially considering what seems like so much vacant commercial space.
I hit my head 6x just watching.
I instinctively ducked twice watchin' this.
kzhead.info/sun/n9F6id6AoXtrdp8/bejne.html
I hit my bar ends on the railings and face planted 17x
No shit. The roof looks super close in places. Maybe an illusion.
I wanna bring my hover bord there then I go VROOOOOOOOM
should be titled "Worlds Longest Indoor Opportunity for Injury Trail" LMAO
Ok
lol, Too many pillars.
It’s not bad unless you send it
That's why everyone who rides signs an Assumption Of Risk form. The risks are detailed in the contract, the participants acknowledge they have been told of all the inherent risks, they assume all of the risk of injury injury and death, and still choose to participate. Unlike a simple liability waiver where you promise not to sue , an AOR provides liability protection in court.

Anybody else got anxiety from watching this also this so freakin cool
Yep
Yea, no need to tailgate Each other
Im the 69th like nice
No, just following along and wondering how a go-kart would perform there.
That looks sick! Can’t believe they have room for a full mile, love the video!
They have so much in this place!!!
Love how he casually says "I almost died on this part"
hahahah 😅
Every mountain biker says that lol I do to
lol
O
all the mountain bikers i have meet including me use i almost died as a replacment for i almost crashed
You guys across the pond beat the world at "big" everytime. Thanks for taking us on a tour of an amazing place; and hats off to the track designers.
Can't begin to imagine how many hours have gone into building that place... really cool!
Kinda reminds me of one of those old school roller coasters, only on bikes. Very Cool!!
Right! So cool!!!!

One day I plan to travel out to Ohio and ride the real roller coasters in Sandusky then head over here for some fun too :)

@@sademario0873 yo, stop.
Wonder if it makes any money......
great visuals in the vid, enjoyed it for twofold reasons: the biking ofc, but also the facility itself. I imagine that a 'behind the scenes' style vid of how it's run constructed etc would be very interesting if there isn't one already.
This is unreal guys, thanks for sharing this great concise edit, I bet many a derailleur have been broken off in this place haha..
I would be worried about hitting my head on some of that stuff but it looks RAD MAN!
I was there myself and i agree. There have some soft pads install on high risk areas but still you don't wanna hit them.
So when your biking in the woods?, does someone put pads up on the trees for you? If your worried, your better off staying at home and playing video games.
Harsh. The authority has spoken lmao
@@Charlie_Nice ... Nope they have sharp pointy things that stab the crap out of you ;)
@@JJ_ExMachina Took the words right out of my mouth. lol.
That place looks like a blast, I look forward to hearing more about it.
It was so fun and surreal!
This looks like so much fun. Something like this near me might make me change from a road bike to a MTB.
Such a cool place. I could spend so much time in there, just noodling, practicing and having a blast.
Hey Everyone! Hope you enjoy this quick look at the park! We are working on the full video and hoping to have that done in two Fridays from now. We really appreciate the SR Suntour crew for inviting us out for the women's weekend event! It was so nice to get some riding in this past weekend and meet some of you out there!
Hii ur soo good at that stuff can u plsss comment on my comment plssss
What bikes did yall use in this video?
idk, i'd ride it but it just has the feeling of being cramped up, with all the railing so close and all. Cool idea, built pretty nicely, cool for bad weather days i guess.
It’s really not this is my local and the railings aren’t actually that close
And this is like 1% of what rays has too offer there’s so much more for freestyle
GoPro's are great for capturing footage, but they make it look way more narrow.
Take a great outdoor activity and put it... indoors under fluorescent lights. Nope.
@@silvermediastudio why lol
I've never heard of such a place......very cool! Beautifully constructed!!! I've never been particularly athletically skilled, especially on a bike. So watching you two navigate those narrow paths is stressful! But what a fun place for someone with skills!! I'm sure my favorite section would be the same as April's. And watching Kyle riding a wheelie through there at the end was more than worth the price of admission!!
The pump track is my favorite too! I wish I could just follow you through there. I would learn so much!! Great video!
I'm not much of a mountain biker but I enjoyed watching this, seems like a blast.
It was so much fun 😊
I don’t even have a bike and for some reason find myself watching these kinda of videos
@@IrrIdk just get one its a nice sport
You should start
Rode Rays MKE a few times on my BMX, before I moved out west and started mtb'ing. Place was freaking rad, even on my 20". 🤘
This is an insane facility! Im not even massively into bikes and stuff but I love this place.
Great riding by April - fast, well done! Love the wheelies/manuals Kyle.
Thank you!!! 😊
That’s incredible, the work alone that went in to creating that place. Wish I could ride it. Only a few thousand miles away 😞
At 3:17 if you look at the doorway thing youll see part of the drywall missing, yea that was because i went to fast and to high and wasnt paying enough attention my first time there and hit my head :)
Omg haha that’s crazy!
Oh jeez I hope you were wearing a helmet
Out of all of the videos I have watched over the years on KZhead, and trust me it's a lot, this is my favorite! Dame, that was enjoyable to watch. 😀
I got to visit this place this past week. I really enjoyed flow section and the pump track. I would of never known about this place if it wasn't for this video, Thank you!
Unreal Concept - To Have A Vision And Then Able To Build, Two Thumbs Up - Very Impressive - April, I Know Leaving Your Job Was Rough But The New Direction Was Right On Par - Very Smooth And In Control - Well Done - Kyle, Dig The Wheelie Action And Alliterative Lines As Well - Looking Forward To The Rest Of The Series - Keep On Keeping On Cheers
Thanks Travis! This place was so unreal and is definitely a rare gem. This trip did beat sitting at the office haha -April
Man that place looks insane!! I'd see a few videos before but had no idea it was truly that big. Why can't we have one in CA lol, they need to start building some more of this in other states. Just too cool.
This place looks like so much! Definitely on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing!
the pump track and the flow section looked really nice, I like when the path is fast and smooth so it looked really fun
makes me really miss going to rays while I was still in cle. glad to see they're running and doing new stuff!
I used to ride Ray's in Milwaukee before they closed. I was planning to ride Mammoth cave but they had to close the bike area due to earthquake damage!
Awww bummer, at least you got to experience Milwaukee!
Rays MKE 🤘
I went there last Jan, and its pretty cool seeing places I've ridden and sat on camera
Great idea. It has made a good impression on me. The young people that live nearby must love this mountain bike track.
Must have just missed you guys. That’s in my backyard and we go a couple times a week. It’s cool to see people from all over the world come out! Hope Cleveland treated you well!
You are lucky, it was such a cool place! Cleveland treated us well, we rode everyday and ate amazing food!!!
@@AprilRideMTB Ray's is such an awesome place. Great vibe, cool people. Blessed to be from Cleveland and have this in our backyard, (especially during winter months). But you're right about the amazing food, which is why I need to go to Ray's more often! Glad you were able to show Ray some love!
Looks like an amazingly fun place...MTB Disneyland is an accurate description! I'm thinking they have an extremely well-written waiver form to sign pre-ride ;). Thanks for letting us take a virtual lap with you guys..., April, you seriously lit it up through the pump track section! Speaking of pump tracks: lucky to be having another warm weekend here in Chico...Upper Park trails & the Wildwood track were once again full of big & little rippers, lots of parents & kids riding together. Always much thanks for all your efforts in making that track into a reality. Really appreciate Kyle's Vital MTB podcast comment about feeling more fulfilled by helping regular folks experience the benefits of riding than by the recognition you got from winning races. You guys bring an all-to-rare focus on using your talents toward benefiting others. Just recently re-watched Awesome MTB's 2019 vid with Mo & Hannah riding Moab with Kyle...Mo mentioned while watching you rip that you should have your own KZhead channel. Holy crap, look what you guys have created in the short time since he made that observation! Well-deserved congratulations and much more great stuff ahead for you guys. Stay safe & happy riding...cheers from NorCal!
Thank you so much for the kind words and observations! Mo was smart and saw something before we did, we are very glad we gave it a try together! That is great to hear riding is thriving in Chico right now!!
Great idea! I wish they had one of those in Wilmington NC! Nice set up for adults and kids! Thanks for sharing!
This place looks awesome! It would work well in Montana for the winters. A full mile is crazy for an indoor parl. Thank you for sharing.
Every time I see our city's unused old Safeway building I think about this kind of park! Man, that would be cool! Looking forward to your video about their history!
April is shredding hard! Looks like a fun place to ride!
SO AWESOME I WISH THAT I HAD HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO RIDE SUCH A GREAT INDOOR COURSE WHEN I WAS AN AVID RIDER THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS VIDEO OUT IT MAKES ME LOOK FORWARD AT 43 TO GET BACK INTO RIDING ‼️‼️‼️
I used to have a rays bike place near me, but because of a lack people going it was shut down. It was always my favorite place to go biking with my family.
Can you imagine someone riding behind you narrating/commenting on everything they're doing the entire ride?
Haha she’s used to it by now 😂

Imagine if you didn't know them. lol
Looks great for beginners stating from nowhere. Nice green path to follow to get the feel and knowing where to ride without getting to carried away. I don’t like to jump or hit tables so looks like a nice relaxed afternoon to be able to just roll around.
The sound of going down steps is so satisfying
Nice to see you both doing well!👍🏼

As someone who has forgotten how to ride a bike (yes it does happen)🥺🥺🥺 and for someone who hates the stomach drop feeling of being on a rollercoaster... Seeing this makes me actually want to re-learn how to ride a bike and travel here for this course... If only I wasn't so athletically challenged 😭 and if I wasn't so embarrassed to be able to learn these things in front of others haha 😂
If you choose to get back into riding, we hope that our videos can help you with your skills more this time! 😊
It cool that there's many options and it look like a good place to begin riding mountain bikes
I have been waiting years and years to ride this awesome place, hopefully someday soon 🙌🧿🚵♂️💙

Understandable
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen for riding bikes. I wanna go now.
I love mountain biking, and this looks awesome!
This place is too damn cool! I wish there was one around here.
They need to expand this concept to different states. So many old factories and warehouses that could be converted. Killer business concept.
@@dylan-5287 Totally agree! I would ride there all winter long and on rainy days. I bet it would be packed if there was something like that in my city.

@@AprilRideMTB certainly! It would be really good!
Love it, got to visit the Milwaukee one the last season it was open. Sad to have seen it close, but so much fun, and memories!
Back in the 90s, yeah i am dating myself, we got to play paintball inside of an old skating rink, it was a blast not only getting to play indoors but they also added other really cool features that we didn't get to experience outside. Plus, it also renovated a dilapidated old building that held nostalgia for those of us who skated there as kids. Love these kind of places.
Pretty amazing what they've done with an old huge assed factory.
That looks like a blast!
Sooo fun!!!!!!!!
I used to go to this place and ride my bike with my dad. This place was so much fun.
Awesome content Love all the skills
Sick place, wish I could go there.
There’s a Sam’s Club that closed down a little while ago near me…… hmmm…. 🧐
Build one!!!!
There's a huge mall with lots of empty stores. Last time I went there I had an idea of turning it into a skatepark of sorts.
Good idea to use the empty space but the price of renting or buying such a large piece of real-estate plus the cost of legal/maintenance/staff costs you would have to charge a arm and a leg just to stay afloat.
Seems like just the other day that you hit 100k subscribers and now I see you are gonna hit 200k!!!! Congrats!
Thank you so much Jeff!
Looks like you're going to stay in shape with the MTB trails.
Should get some trees and small ponds on there make it kinda realistic some
Sick! I mean...here in Italy there’s nothing even close to this concept! Anyway...you guys are inspiring! It would be a dream meet you somewhere down the trails!
Maybe one day! 😊
Nice video can you imagine a continue upgrade to the track with wood prices at the levels they are now.
This seems like an amazing place. It also feels like it would be way less dangerous than biking outdoors and ultimately way better for the environment
Looks like amazing fun to do, kudos to whoever is running this place!
great place - wish we had something alike here in Europe
Man I am getting old and this just rejuvenated my need to live! We must bring this to Northern Ontario! Man this concept is so badly needed here for physical activity ALL year round! I'm taking Engineering presently and I think I just witnessed a spark to something that can go big!
This is brilliant, I'd injure myself for sure but would love to try this 👍
That looks like great fun! Question for you both, How do you keep up your motivation when the weather isn't great and you don't have much spare time? I haven't been out in a few weeks now 😔
We are on the same boat as you! I wish you guys could see just how much work Kyle especially puts into all of this (since he is more of the brains in this). It is hard to be motivated when it is so cold/windy all of the time. Also there is only really one trail we are allowed to consistently ride in winter, but it is a little far in the desert. I have mainly been focusing on rehab for any parts of my body that need work, self care and strength training.
@@AprilRideMTB we might not be able to see the physical effort you and Kyle put in but you can defo feel it in every video. that's why I love watching them so much, because you can feel the love and effort you guys put in. That's a good idea about the rehab. I've set myself a weight loss goal for the summer so I will be fitter for the good weather shredding 😁
That is so amazing, the planning must have took ages to do and then the minor thing of building it.
