Is crazy how much the gov hobby has changed and became commercial and all of this imagine doing this in 2015 with your good old fat shark for goggle and the drone.

@@MotownModels holy cow quads were so rare back then in 2010 and 11. Their flight controllers were absolutely nothing compared to today. i dont think fpv systems existed back then, or they did but not to the public yet lol. its kinda dumb they call everything fpv today.

I'm a professional fpv pilot and I can assure you all that was some epic flying. Slowing down and speeding up to match Kade through all that is so incredibly difficult to do, not to mention the work involved in getting signal through all that. Top job to all involved

best footage I've ever seen of a downhill run. You get a sense of speed, height and power from this that the 1st person cam just never conveys. absolutely fantastic stuff. Thanks!
These drone shots should be used more often - I've seen then in ice racing and mountain biking they really give you an idea of the speed and skill of these athletes

Absolutly absurd how precise this was manuvered. Beeing shot by pepples and going between those rocks afterwards. Also some turns were just so perfect. Just seemed to have problems to fit the speed, but considering he is probably not a downhillrider and the speeds they are operating, short delays have big consequences. Guess the drone canˋt stop that fast whilst retaining visibility on the rider?
@@panganaranga yes, you are right. Keeping up to speed with something (car, bike and etc.) is the hardest thing in fpv world especially when the speed changes instantly. There are no "brakes" on the drone. You have to tilt it, but not too much to not lose visibility on the object. The rider on bike is great, but the flight was insane. Just the setup to get enough signal for the whole run is something unreal for basic pilot like me. The flight itself is just on another level.
The drone flying is impressive but let's give some props to the audio guy. Can hear *everything* but the drone. Top notch work.

@@TheSirDuckofAwesome It is obviously mixed in a studio and obviously not taken from the drone. That does not make it "fake". It's either taken from a mic on the bike and the drone hum is removed in post. Or it's taken from a run on the same bike on the same course without the drone and then synced up with the footage. Either way, whatever the technique, the way it's done is very good and separates the pros from the amateurs when it comes to drone cinematography. And because of that, the audio tech deserve a little credit.

What Red Bull has done to sports and extreme sports in particular is just incredible. They keep on pushing the boundaries and this video is proof of that. The drone shots give a much better view of what these guys do when riding downhill. The whole team did an amazing job and I am sure they enjoyed it as much as we enjoy watching it. Thanks to Red Bull and hats off to all the amazing people involved!

What these drone fpvs do so very well is capture the speed differences during these track runs. The acceleration after hitting the road gap drop is mind boggling. Downhill riders are on another level.

I saw the title and switched to full screen right away. 1st You have to be a SUPER GOOD FPV PILOT. Then there's intense work in the woods. So to the PILOT and the TEAM 🙌🙌🙌 The best Downhill ever by FPV. Now you can literally see what GRIND the RIDER goes through. This is not for everybody for sure. The ones who do this have to have guts and speed and be FIT as possible. WoW!!

As someone who’s been on both sides of the lens in these activities, the skill from both individuals is incredible. Crashes definitely hurt less on the side of the lens that I’m on most frequently now!

This is what i love about these kinds of videos, it has that interesting pull, the build up, then its just golden, uninterrupted footage that we are hyped for. Best of all, that list clip was raw, and had no unnecessary dude perfect style music. Love it

Its incredible to me that the FPV pilot is using analog to pull this off. I'm so spoiled as all Ive ever know is digital transmission. I've seen people on social media thinking this is a mavic pro or something that is using active track. I love how immersive the video is and the production value with the sounds added in make people think this is audio from the drone itself. The pilot skill here is very impressive, especially through the wooded sections!
