This is some top tier singing all around! Simultaneously thrilling and poignant! Thank you!
I cant get enough from Corelli. A open throat, the voice seems coming from "above" but is always strong and perfect behind, where the belcanto voices come from. I give in: It's not to capire for normals. These are the secrets of technical right singing. How to learn ? This is a long, stony, sometimes brutal way....and there are only two hands of capable teachers in the whole world...or you may find an own way...? like Corelli ❤❤❤❤❤
Bumbry is tremendous here. Her voice is so well coordinated: she has the top, she has the bottom, and the middle does not sound stuffy as it so often does with most Azucena’s. And she is dramatically involved. Inspiring.
Bravo Zanasi.
Thank you so much!!!!
Corelli interview sounds scripted, to allow for his language uncertainty.
Uncertainty? Jeez…he talks like a 2 year old boy….😊
@@armandogabba2769 I don't believe that Corelli will be remembered for his proficiency in the English language, so there's that....
@@joecivitano he was an acquaintance of mine and he never got along with English…..I can only say that was one of the greatest singer and also the most decent man…rip
@@armandogabba2769 I think hardly any Italians of that generation spoke English well. Of those earlier generations, I can only think of Siepi and (a bit earlier) Pinza.
@@ER1CwC you’re absolutely right
