  • This is some top tier singing all around! Simultaneously thrilling and poignant! Thank you!

  • I cant get enough from Corelli. A open throat, the voice seems coming from "above" but is always strong and perfect behind, where the belcanto voices come from. I give in: It's not to capire for normals. These are the secrets of technical right singing. How to learn ? This is a long, stony, sometimes brutal way....and there are only two hands of capable teachers in the whole world...or you may find an own way...? like Corelli ❤❤❤❤❤

  • Bumbry is tremendous here. Her voice is so well coordinated: she has the top, she has the bottom, and the middle does not sound stuffy as it so often does with most Azucena’s. And she is dramatically involved. Inspiring.

  • Corelli interview sounds scripted, to allow for his language uncertainty.

    • @@armandogabba2769 I don't believe that Corelli will be remembered for his proficiency in the English language, so there's that....

    • @@armandogabba2769 I think hardly any Italians of that generation spoke English well. Of those earlier generations, I can only think of Siepi and (a bit earlier) Pinza.
