I’ve seen a few of these done, I love it. No one ever does away with the running boards- it would look sick with just straight pickemup rockers

This is a great start to doing them professionally. I see all of those farm trucks on a other channel being just whacked up and scrapped. Makes me kinda sad as it will sell like hotcakes if made to look nice. They also made the Napco front axles so four wheel drive was already a big seller to the four wheel drive folks. Its only a thing in my head but take like the big selling parts and pieces sold at Copart. Tons of parts could be salvaged from wrecks that shouldn't be back on the road. Just axles and running gears could be used under these farm rigs. Another I call foolish thing but sells well is the cummins in anything that has a steering wheel makes them go like hotcakes. I could go on and on about this stuff but.... hey, I am just a old seventy four year old man who pulled wrenches all my life till a accident left me crippled for life nineteen years ago. I am sure but only guessing that you have some dreams of your own.. life gets in the way and so it is one here and there but your having a ton of fun. Thats the important part is enjoying doing what we do

I built one from my c65 1976 chevy truck. I hauled water for my sprayer for about 10 years. It has 37000 miles and no rust. I added another running board to its running board to fill gap at front of bed. Finally found a good dually bed that I am getting ready to paint. It’s a lot of work. I really enjoyed your video.

I just did the same build except I didn’t use a dually box I made back fenders outta front fenders off a c60

Why not put the wrecker on the heavier truck??
Because the wrecker is too small for the truck.
