BMP-2M Berezhok Infantry Fighting Vehicle
BMP-2M Berezhok, as an infantry fighting vehicle is designed to transport and support infantry in combat situations. The vehicle has a crew of three: a driver, a commander, and a gunner.
BMP-2M is fitted with a new Berezhok turret that enhances the vehicle's combat capabilities by integrating a range of advanced weapons and fire control systems.

    • Real question is; How many thousands of Ukrainians does it take to make it fly? Seems to be about 14:1 on the front lines. Or how high does the Bradley turret fly? Seen quite a few now separated from the body like a pathetic snake.

  • Probably the best IFV the Russians have in service at the moment. I don't think much of the overall design of the BMP-3 turret and some Russian equipment definitely needs updating. Hence the new Boomerang IFV and the new T-14 Armata tank these are the type of vehicles that are needed to succeed on the global market in the coming years. 😎

    • its soviet style ifv... protection is secondary. Main thing is firepower and price. It was design to charge in huge numbers to the west and honestly for dismounted infantry support which is the role those ifv are used now its enough. Saw video on telegram how this is used as taxi which carried infantry to cover behind the building. There infantry dismounted and bmp was used as mobile grenade launcher support firing indirect, corrected by drone. It was enough to keep defenders in cover while stormtroopers advanced to the position. When ukr artillery started to fire, the bmp just run away, but infantry was already in ukr trenches where vehicle cant support them anyway.

  • Old scrap, weak armor, and the turret cannon is unstable and inaccurate. It vibrates a lot. Unlike western armor, its cannon is modern and very accurate.
