  • Latest update: the video reached to Egypt and the manager of the hotel called us. He assured that the incident that happened to us will never happen again to anyone else. This is truly commendable to accept. Thank you 🙏

  • I studied in Germany for 3 years from 17-20 and faced racism as well. I got spit on my neck while I was doing my part time job once and he told me you were taking away our jobs. Didn't bother to do anything just went on. The second time a half drunken person spit on my jeans while I was going to eat out. This time wanted to respond but didnt want to spoil my mood :). After living for 3 years in Germany and travelling in Europe I realized one thing that I always felt like a outsider...Never felt at home. Despite beautiful landscapes and opportunities and also wonderful people......I felt INDIA had more life. SO came back despite opportunities to start my own business here :). I realized the value of INDIA and what it offers me only when I left this nation.

  • I am a dark-skinned South Indian. I lived and worked in North India, the US, the UK, and Australia. For a short period, I also worked in the Middle East. Sadly, I have to say that of all the countries, the worst racism I faced was in North India - yes, our own country! It was the ONLY place in the world where people would openly call me 'Kallu' or 'Blackie', particularly when they were not happy about something. The second worst racists were the Middle Easterners. For historical reasons, the Arabs do look down upon Indians, Pakistanis, etc. And ironically, the least open racism I faced was with whites in the Western world. I don't say there was no racism, but even when there was racism, it was much more subtle, and they were always very polite (unlike the North Indians in our own country). And you can see the same phenomenon with North East Indians, who are an exceptionally polite and courteous people. Yet, they are treated badly, and called names by the North Indians. Equality and respect for other human beings is something that is sadly lacking in much of North Indian culture. You can see the same lack of respect for other human beings in aspects like casteism, violence against women, gang rapes, violence based on religious division, etc. Maybe because of higher education & literacy, higher economic development, etc,. but South India has certainly progressed much more than the North India in this respect. The greatest irony is the same North Indians are the first people to cry 'racism', 'racism', when they visit Western countries - despite being so racist in their own country.

Show us your places how you live and your local language, food, songs, and dress. Not everyone is terrible, especially people from eastern India who have faced all odds to rise up. I can feel your pain. I must tell you Indian constitution doesn't differentiate between the people of Ladakh and Mumbai. It was our poor fate that people like you had been neglected by successive governments run by so-called secular parties like congress. Now the government has risen up, building roads, schools and hospitals in your region.

    • This doesn’t justify the racism but you need to understand where people get their perception of India from. India, whether you want to agree with it or not, is poor and dirty and uneducated and undeveloped. It is the poorest country in the world given it has the largest population of poor people in the world. There are poor people in India who eat freaking rats and sh*t on streets, India is not safe for women (arguably the least safe country for women). Yes even Egypt is a more attractive tourist destination than India because their country is not dirty and they actually maintain their monuments. I doubt if similar harassment to tourists happened in India, any Indian hotel wouldn’t take any action, not even close to what this Egyptian hotel did. India’s entire GDP, which all andhbhakts chest pump about, is equivalent to the singular state of California in the entire USA. India is a country of 1.4 billion people. California is 39 million people. Imagine the world of difference in living conditions and GDP per capita. If India improves and grows its GDP, so that GDP per capita grows and hundreds of millions are lifted out of poverty, educated on cleanliness, pollution and liter are controlled, then Indians everywhere (even the ones living outside India) will be respected equally like people from any other country. India and Indians will stop being made fun of, insulted, and looked down on. All of India and Indians problems stem from poverty. The poorest Indian is as Indian as you and Mukesh Ambani and Shahrukh Khan. You can not dissociate your Indian identity from any of them. Doesn’t matter even if you were born in another country, you are still of Indian ethnicity. All the insults will still be targeted agonist you about how poor and dirty India is. You also have to share in this bad image of the country like the rest of the 1.4 billion Indians. What China did was a miracle. China was once poorer than India. Now it is like at least 100 years ahead of India. Chinese people used to face severe racism in the West, when China was poor. Today everyone respects China and Chinese people are filled with pride to be Chinese. Indians need to fight to fix their government and their country, so that future generations of Indians wont have to live in anymore shame. India and China got independence around the same time. There are no excuses. You can’t ask for respect as a country or people. You need to earn it. If no one focuses on building India and continues to ignore poverty and dirtiness, no one can save it. It is probably the most disappointing country in the world. And that is just so sad. At least so that your grandkids or great grandkids don’t have to face this level of insult and shame just for being Indian, Indians need to fight for growth and development tooth and nail. Back in 1998, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam predicted poverty would be erased from India by 2020. Today India is home to the largest population of poor people (~228 million). It’s a serial disappointment. So don’t be shocked that people have a bad image of India and Indians. And Indian scammers don’t help the image either.

Their was one instance where one of our team member, a above middle age named mike just walks past me and says "Wash your fucking face" with the most disgusting and angry look on his face . That hurt me for real , and i started blaming my dad for bringing me to this racist country . Not to mention I've came across really wonderful people on this land as well What I've learnt is in this world there are good people and some bad people . And it's our choice which one of them do we want to be in our lifetimes

    • It's good that you shared your disappointment on social media. Honestly, if we make a true, unbiased self assessment, let me tell you ours is the most colour conscious, racial society in the world. We divide upon ourselves into regions, split our view on our diverse society into concepts of our own. We all know our country is a world in itself... Nowhere else in the world, you come across a social texture as diverse as in India. Still, all of us badly failed to intake that diversity into our personal lives. We continue to find fault with somebody else bad looks or poor skin tone...! But, racism and belittling for being Indian ( Indian bad image abroad) is absolutely true and it exists in different forms and badly felt, experienced during travels abroad. (Fortunately, everybody's not a racist) At the moment, there's no solution for that , better accept the fact and avoid racists...If you raise a complaint , it will sound like ' you don't like when you were shown your setbacks' and not as remark of humiliation...! It's true, the world is set in that way...! As indians, we patiently need to wait for some more time to overcome our visible poverty in Indian cities and towns, united effort is badly required to change the image of India... When real progress will change our lives, when prosperity give way to hardships & backwardness, the whole world will eventually respect India , as a matter of fact, very soon... 🙏

I went to a BSNL office nearby the lady there asked for 100 inr only then she will accept my application i refused she did her usually jolly performance to convince me then resorted to abuse. I thanked her for talking and went back. I reported her to BSNL got a pre-made email in response. Wrote grievance mail to vigilance. Asked BSNL through rti whome they have contracted to accept application. And consumer forum. Took me half an hour cuz everything is online. In a week started to recieve numerous calls from BSNL ignored all. Vigilance replied they are looking into the matter. BSNL in rti replied no contract worker but she was a proxy of someone else. A person from local contractor of BSNL called me didn't picked. Three person team with a BSNL regional enginner visited me apologised and took my application. There is always a way. India is way more fair to it's people than rest of the world is to their citizens. Everything happened In course of 15 days.

Such discrimination has led to social exploitation and oppression among the disadvantaged people while the superior people enjoyed all luxuries. 2. It goes against the principles of an egalitarian society and natural justice. 3. It does not allow individuals to develop to their full capacities because of unequal opportunities. This leads to skewed development of society. Very few socially disadvantaged people like Dr.B.R.Ambedkar were able to break free of social inequalities.

I hope now they will be able to empathize with the daily discrimination that is faced by millions of their fellow Indians just because of their caste . Did ayushi yadav pay the cost of being born in a hindu family?

    • @@kadumlego384 Hi there...ur right...U know what?It happens with North east people many times...And plus North East Indians and that part of India is often ignored and disrespected ..Also in India itself, there is too much racism against South koreans,Japaneese and Chineese...Many indians keep making upsetting comments about those races....Also there is a lot of islamophobia in India....But i guess its also becoz India these days is making too much arrogant statements to hurt other nations peoples sentiments... India was saying that Ban QATAR world cup also...I guess that is the main reason why those people were against India...Also u know what? India is getting too close with Iran and therefore i guess those people were sad about it.. If black lives matter...Then white lives matter too...Becoz all human lives matter...Its about humanity is the only religion...Its not hinduphobia,islamophobia,etc...Its about Humanity being the only religion and race. Also respectable Amit Shah ji said that terrorism cant be attatched to a religion...It can be of any religion.

  • Dude we got racism here itself where a readymade showroom attendant looked at my daughter & asked me why ur daughter is so dark when u both (parents) are fair. How badly those words would have affected her & trust me, telling someone ugly is as debilitating or more than being spat on..
