    • It was a company policy. There’s no reason at all to risk hiring someone with a criminal record that interacts with children. Because if any incident happens it will be brought up. Then every one will question the hiring person “why did you ignore their prior criminal history?” Not worth the risk for such a job that isn’t short on applicants.
