  • The playoffs this year has really taught me the importance of kickers

    • And can you believe there are people who want to abolish the field goal? There’s something so satisfying about that kick sailing through the uprights, so heartbreaking about seeing it sail just wide. It’s what the playoffs are all about. I hope field goals never go away.

The Rams super bowl run w Goff was shut down because of Brady and the great playcalling from the Pats coaching. Sean Mcvay is a talented offensive mind in the NFL. But, defensively speaking, The Rams were a dangerous threat against a terrible Bengals O-line. Holding Chase and Tee Higgins down, as well as pushing pressure onto Burrow. But so, so impressed how Brady handled himself after the game, greeting, smiling and hugging the other team. Compare him to the Anti-Vaxxer in Green Bay, sulking and scowling and couldn't get off the field fast enough. How you handle yourself in loss says just as much about you. Always knew he was good enough to win the biggest of games if he just had a good team around him, and sadly we almost never were able to provide one here. They did both, two plays in a row to give up the fg. Keep the ball in bounds in front of the safety's game goes to OT. I'd fire Bowles for that.

Did they not learn their lesson from last year in the successful coverage of Tyreek Hill (Chiefs)? How could they be so stupid? Ryan Succup also missed a Field Goal in the first half, that would have made a big difference at the end. Despite the injuries, this was a winnable game (with Brady & Evans & Gronk & Fournette & Miller coming alive at the end). I blame the Coaching staff. It was NOT Tom Brady that gave up a fast 27 points in just a little over one-half (and it would have been 34 points, had the Rams RB not gotten careless and failed to wrap-up the ball at the Goal line). The DEFENSE did that. The DEFENSE gave up all those points early, and failed to keep the game even remotely close. The fact that the Rams botched the ball a few times in the 4th quarter, does not make up for the fact Matt Stafford & The Rams moved the ball up and down the Field all game long with ease, and the Bucs just let Cooper Kupp (a whopping 185 yards all by himself) just run around totally uncovered in "single" coverage, and burn them easily all day long. Even after the Bucs tied it (miraculously) with 1-minute left to go, the DEFENSE failed to do their jobs once again, and could not even keep them from scoring even for just a mere 50 seconds .. to give the Bucs a chance to win in Overtime. The DEFENSE clearly sucked - and so did Todd Bowls & Arians coaching. You don't have just a single safety cover the most supreme WR in the entire NFL league (with 1800 yards of production) if you want to win. That is just dumb Football, and dumb DEFENSE.

    • That should be said to every fumble each Rams players had

  • The Rams defense was incredible today and they did exactly what they had to do to put pressure on Brady to win the game. The Bucs was an excellent team, despite having a lot of key injuries. But starting at the end of the second quarter when Cam Akers fumbled that ball in the red zone, I knew some kind of a storm was coming and, boy, the Rams almost choked there. Matthew Stafford's last pass to set up the game-winning field goal proved that this guy is a leader that can stay cool under pressure.

    • Yes, the fumbles by the Rams kept the Bucs in the game. Coach Arians adjusted Brady's passing to mostly shorter throws to avoid Rams pass rush. But for the Rams turnovers, it would not have been that close.

  • Unbelievable! Probably the most or second-most exciting game of the season. TB were one second and one field goal away from Super Bowl again
