Vikings fans are the most fickle in the NFL. In my humble opinion. Most of them thought they were screwed when Cousins got hurt, and they haven’t been playing too badly since he got hurt. Even supposes “fans” on the sports radio station, KFXN 100.3, perpetuate all this damn gloom and doom , then they are super happy, then right back to negative BS.

Most amazing part of the comeback is that to come back from 33-0, and 36-7 late in the 3rd, you would think everything would have to go perfect. But it was far from perfect (stolen TD, Reagor quitting his route on the pick, turnover on downs) and they still did it.

My cousin, who is a packers fan, said when it was 0-33, don't look like your winning the division today! We were having our family Christmas this weekend, and as the Vikings started rolling, we told him that he kick started the Vikings and by the end of the game he had nothing to say.
My mom’s friend was going live at the beginning of the game for the pre show and there was a Colt’s fan being a jerk in the chat. Everyone roasted him after the game by asking if he had anything to say now. 😂😂
I happen to know that cousin who was "theCoctor" Packer fan, and just like a diehard Packer fan, today, November 25, 2023, again said "Doesn't look like your winning the division this year." Shame on him!

Seattle Seahawk fan here. It's 2024 and I am just seeing this for the first time. I feel like I just watched a Hollywood movie called "Remember the Vikings"! That was so incredible, and I found myself celebrating like I a Vikings fan. Good for you all. Kinda reminded me of when the Hawks went to the super bowl after a divisional win also from wayyyy behind.
Was it not the championship game against the cheese heads.
The craziest part of this comeback was the refs literally took 14 Vikings points off the board and called back a gigantic punt return all to try and stop this comeback. Even with Kirks int and not converting on 4th and 15 also.
On that fumble recovery, his knee was down as he grabbed the ball so it wouldn’t have been a touchdown anyway.

People really tried blaming Matt Ryan after this and not the defense for allowing 33 points in 2 quarters. Like the Super Bowl I get but still Matt Ryan was not anymore responsible for this loss then the defense.

Doesn't seem like he was blaming Ryan. He said "poor Ryan", so I assume he's showing sympathy for a guy who built big leads for his teams only to end up on the losing side.
It’s funny that the Vikings comeback wasn’t even against the Colts. It was against the referees.
That fumble that the refs missed that could have tied the game with a 2 point conversion was utter garbage! Stevie Wonder could have seen that the ball clearly was fumbled well before any Indy player would have been on the ground with it. Makes you wonder what the refs were looking at and I can sometimes understand the questioning of whether or not the refs are biased ?

This is unusual in another way as well. Usually, great records are broken by a team while playing against the Browns ! This was an exception !
This comeback is even more impressive when you realise the defence tried all they could to lose this in the first half and they still had time to score enough points to comeback
I remember this game not for the comeback so much as the refs screwing the vikings on two turnovers with one of those that should have been a TD.

At least the refs don't just hate on the Lions now. On a different note, I had the privilege of meeting Kirk Cousins. He was a very nice and well-spoken man. I will always be a fan of Kirk Cousins, not for what he does on the field but for who he is as a person.

This reminds me of the Jets VS Miami game back in 2000. At the start of the 4th qrt. it was Miami 37, Jets 7. At the end of the game that went into overtime it was Jets 40, Miami 37. Dang Testaverde came back and scored 30 pioints in the 4th. I lost a football pool because of this game. Another great comeback.

The _weird_ flag by the refs at the end *saved* the game for the Vikings. They don't throw that flag and the game ends in a tie. But of course, you're OK with _that_ flag. 🙄
@@ScrewFlanders It's because the Colts players were preventing the vikings players from getting the ball to the refs. You can't do that. That said, I doubt the refs had much malicious intent; they just made a few bad calls.

Vikings Defence didn’t get enough credit in the video, they also changed in the second half only letting Colts score 3 points, and giving the offence the opportunity to get the scores they needed. Still great to watch but I bet there were some big defensive moves made we didn’t see ;)
Going down 33-0 doesn’t earn you credit… the comeback isn’t necessary without giving up the 33.

The primary reason why we stayed was because it was kids vs mascots at halftime. If you know you know. One thing lead to another.. also just a fun place to be.

In your *humble* opinion? Your opinion isn't humble. I don't know if you understood this, but the announcers were being sarcastic. It's not the player's job to clean up the pile like that. The defender might have been injured, plus it's just bad sportsmanship. That's a penalty every single time.

That was a crazy comeback, I turned the game off and watched my alma mater Cincinnati slap around LaSalle while keeping track of the game on my phone. I turned the game back on after the Bearcats win to see the Vikings down 36-21 but driving. I watched the rest in disbelief, The Vikings played a lot of one score games that year and this game like the others nearly gave me a heart attack
That scoop and score non fumble call with over 3 min to go was atrocious. It's amazing they overcame that after what happened

I remember texting my friends in the first half encouraging them to watch the game because it was the poorest performance by a team I had ever seen. We were making fun of minnesota. They were unable to do anything in the first half and it was sad football. I turned it off at halftime.
