Paul McCartney is a living legend, who else would agree with me as well.
Paul is the only celebrity whose being seems near-mythological to me. I feel like I'm sharing a timeline with a musical extraordinaire in the vain of Mozart or Beethoven. It's a blessing to have him still around, sharing his stories with the world. What's even nuttier is that he's STILL making great music, and he doesn't look like he's slowing down soon either!
You can’t help but smile when he talks. McCartney is a national treasure
Paul is the caretaker of John, Linda, George, etc., keeping their spirits alive and well with true love from his heart.
I can die happy knowing I have the same name as Paul McCartney’s horse.
I just Know Paul will never stop making music.
I remember John Lennon saying in an interview, that in the future, we will all be able to communicate instantaneously. I couldn't comprehend it at the time, yet here we are. Prophetic.
This must be the only interview, ever, where he has a chance to talk about his creative process. So much better than the usual boring questions. Paul is the greatest musical genius of our time. These words from him are going to be exceptionally important, both for future songwriters and students of the great man. Like Shakespeare or Dickens, Paul is a talent of historical significance.
Paul McCartney is my hero. I was 14 when he with the Beatles changed music and my life for the better. I still have my first Beatles 45 record, “I Want To Hold Your Hand. The following British Invasion played the soundtrack for my youth and life. I’m an old man now, a bit younger than Paul and in my retirement, I’ve taken my musical abilities, as modest as they are, and have begun to compose, play, sing, record and produce my own music, like Paul, only in the sense that I play all the instruments and do all the production myself. When people ask me what my goal is in doing so, I tell them that I want to compose a song so beautiful that Paul McCartney will want to cover it. Te amo senor McCartney!
Paul McCartney has done it again and deserves every last bit of praise he gets
Just hearing Paul talk is extremely comforting in this time.
Paul is like that one grandparent everybody adores
I was born in 1970 (McCartney I), years later as a kid, I loved a tune on the radio which was "Don't Say Goodnight Tonight" and I was like 'what Band is this?' and then I felt the same attraction by "Coming Up!" (McCartney II), my question was again 'Who is this?'. Months later I finally discovered it was Paul McCartney!! and realized that all these great songs I liked and loved where him or The Beatles!!! Now, in this crazy year he gave us (McCartney III) Wow!!! He is definitely my mentor, my fav Rock Star!!
Zane Lowe has done a masterful job navigating the McCartney albums as a trilogy and brought a brilliant set of questions to the table. Excellent interview!
I love what Paul said, "Time is an illusion." If you are constantly creating, also giving and helping others, you really don't have time for looking back or being nostalgic. Always make plans for tomorrow.
paul is still so intelligent, beautiful, and kind... we must protect him at all costs <3
The interviewer is handling pauls energy perfectly.
Can you imagine if on that day in the 1950s when Paul asked his Dad if he could swap his trumpet for a guitar that his Dad said "no". Thanks Mr McCartney.
McCartney 3 is a masterpiece
Man has a MAGICAL relationship with musical instruments.
