Not that I think judoka are better, there are limitations to it of course, but there are far less limitations in some ways than BJJ and wrestling. I was really hoping Bo and Sean were gonna be training in the same place 💯
Emojis are gay
Bo would never. He ain’t that guy
@@ETAisNOWso does yr mama
Bo would eat Strickland alive. Strickland got annihilated by usman.

why did bro start unloading on him @ 5:32 lmaoooo
I was going to comment and ask that looool might have been a lesson for looking away
hahahaa he's so fkn crazy, but that's like the time charlie murphy beat rick james' legs for mudding up his couch, he let his guard down again
Valuable lesson in never let your guard down until the rounds over
Arm punches, relax
A valuable lesson to never drop your hands.
5:32 just blastin this dude 😂

lowkey refreshing to hear Bo talk about how he just loves what he does and that's why he does it
Would be even more refreshing if people stopped using “lowkey”before every comment.

Wow that was a great excerpt on Jason Nolf. Been following his career since high school. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time.
Yeah Jason Nolf is the man.
is that desean strickland?
Strickland’s grappling looks legit
He is BJJ black belt
@@josieandy5874 that doesnt mean anything anymore
@@user-ox1fi7ep7o to an extent yes, but everyone who has trained with Sean has said his grappling is really really good. He just never uses it
@@user-ox1fi7ep7o He also has great take down defence and decent offensive wrestling. In modern MMA all the top guys at the very least have decent wrestling.
@@ddandymann His ground game hasn't been tested against any real competition. I hear people say it about him but I have to see it to believe it. I am a big Strickland fan though and I respect he loves to stand and bang
Sean Strickland on Jocko podcast would be amazing, please make it happen
"Wrestlers, I just respect them more..." We all do Sean, we all do.
@tuttlespeachtree3413 Then they should also have judo in the conversation. I haven't met someone in judo that's really been at a disadvantage over some BJJ or wrestler. Not that I think judoka are better, there are limitations to it of course, but there are far less limitations in some ways than BJJ and wrestling. A lot of wrestlers don't realize what BJJ black belts can do, us judo black belts can also do as well. Sometimes more effectively.
@@zaynes5094 Agreed, but I think the main point that Sean was trying to make is that wrestling as a sport worldwide is highly respected, probably more so than Judo or BJJ as a whole.
This. So much, this. THIS was one of the most wonderful videos ever; at least, for someone who loves MMA and Jocko Willink. I love that you (Jocko) are recognized by so many people, especially Sean. Jocko: Thank you for helping me with your message of extreme ownership. It has helped me process myself in lieu of the loss of my parents.
I’m sorry about your parents.. It’s incredibly painful and shocking even if expecting / knowing. At least it was for me dealing with my dad’s passing.
Damn man.. thanks for sharing. Greetings from South Africa.. good luck to you and sorry about the loss of your parents. The fact that you watch Jocko.. tells me you are probably a good person
This channel has the best content atm! Love it
These people together are so much fun
5:31 just teeing off on a novice. A few seconds later: Jocko: He's a great guy lool😂
WE NEEDED THIS! Love Sean Strickland and am enjoying your creatine and protein powder as well!
Loving this. I think Jocko is probably the best leader to handle Sean for any obstacles he faces.
I luv seeing Sean Strickland training with you guys 🤟
Loving the jocko fueal combat athletes vids!
Something about a Diamond falling out of Danielle Kelly’s belt on the same video Sean Strickland is on just seems poetic lol I wonder how the UFC Middleweight belt is looking these days
He probably has under a leg on his dining room table to keep it level.
I was the captain of my football team, but damn I wish I had a parent to push me to do wrestling because as a 6 foot tall person, I chose to keep playing basketball because all my friends did lol. I really wish I did wrestling instead.
i think the same thing, it could save your life depending on the situation. However I think you probably saved your body a lot of stress and issues by avoiding things like cutting weight n all that, i heard it can really mess you up
@@garydacooldude5399you don’t have to cut weight if you don’t want to lol. Guys do that because they think it gives an advantage. My senior year I got sick of it and just wrestled my natural weight class and I felt so much better
You can start now. Plenty of bjj / mma gyms have wrestling programs
Never too late gsp never wrestled. He went to train with the Canadian Olympic team and put the work in. Wrestling clubs, Bjj, judo gyms, mma gyms good places to learn.
Basketball and football is actually worth it if you make it to pro level. Pro level mma does not get paid good like NFL or NBA so if you're gonna abuse your body, do it for a sport that actually pays millions.
I love how Sean intrusive toughts almost got in there when he wanted to ground and pound 😂
Im really looking forward seeing more of BO NICKAL!!!
idk why but I laughed so hard at 5:30 - he just rocked the guy slightly and the guy looks dumfounded haha then later tries to be like bro I love you you're a legend and he's having none of it.

They should make a pretty belt for girls, all these belts are the most ugly design I've seen in my life
I played dodgeball in that same room (maybe?) back in the year 1999, 2000, 2001 when I went to PSU wrestling camp in high school. The wrestlers from Penn State were really fucking good at dodgeball.

I cannot waitttt until Bo and Khamzat get in that cage!!!! The grappling is gonna be insane
Maybe. Remember Colby vs Usman 1. Either way, that is going to be a killer fight, because both of those guys have hands too.
@@3PeninsulasOutdoorsTrue.......
Fight never happens because Khamzat is overrated and if it does happen there won't be any grappling because he won't take Bo down.
@@cryptombsI agree 👍🏾. Used to think khamzat wrestling wasbbetter but after watching his last few fights I think his only chance of beating Bo is the first round. But even then I personally think bos striking skills is superior to khamzats. I agree with you khamzat has glaring weaknesses that don't simply go away. It is a matter of time now before it catches up to him.b

Strickland putting the 4 piece and soda on old mate. 5:40.. HAHA He was like what the fuck!!

No worries, Bo is sh!t.
Strickland pieced that guy up ! 😂
Jocko being nice and sweet to his sons ❤😂
The best part of wrestling is, no belts no stripes no belts no bullshit Just turn up and keep getting better!!!
That's some bs.
@@ScootsMcPoot Keep pulling guard mate.
I just mean I wrestled 80% of my life. And wrestling is 100% about winning. If you are referring to belts like white blue orange etc3tc. That's to class you for tournaments. Wrestling does the same thing with brackets. You just don't have a co,or coordinated belt. Wrestling is full of bullshit, favorite playing and bracket building to ensure certain people will make it deep. Wrestling is super corrupt at the collegiate/olympic level.
Sean Strickland put a striking clinic on Adesanya. Nice to see Jocko rolling with UFC fighters👍
Sean with a beard is like a new mythical fighter.

Strickland was tagging that kid😭
For those that don’t know, that was Jason Nolf in the PSU wrestling room with Bo. Bo will be a UFC champ by 2025. Nolf is arguably the better wrestler, still in his wrestling prime, and working towards his goal of becoming a World and Olympic Champion. But if, or when, he decides to go full MMA, watch out folks bc he’s got the Championship mentality as well. 🙏🏼
I really doubt Nolf is better then Bo, but it looks like Nolf is going for a world championship
@@JoshShanahan1 But if he wins a World. Hell if he places in Worlds. Aren’t we going to have to position him over Bo? I’m talking strictly in the sport of wrestling
@GuyFromSC World Championship i could probably get with, Not a placement tho. Bo would guarantee atleast be a placer if he didnt have to wrestle up because of David Taylor. And i favor Bos college career a lot more

Did you guys train in Wappingers falls New York? That's just outside of my old stomping grounds. I would love to roll by and watch you guys roll and do your thing. Unfortunately I can do anything right now because I'm rehabilitating a broken shoulder but I would still love to combine and watch and hopefully meet a couple you guys.
I'm from Dutchess County myself, Black Hole Jiu Jitsu is probably the most popular place that I can think of at the moment, were they there?
@@caseycardenas1668 I'm originally from Kingston. I looked up jiu jitsu in Wappingers falls and it seems like black hole was the most likely place that they would train at. I don't know if you're familiar with Danielle Kelly but if not you should check her out. She's very talented plus she's got some story about her personal life growing up. Jocko is so happy, finally he can actually test himself. How often do you think someone pushes him to the wall and to the floor?
I like the bit about working hard and having goals. My son didn’t have interest in sports growing up but I taught him the value of working extremely hard when he enters the job market and the value in saving. He is now in a trade and working 70 hours a week while he is young saving tons of money so he can achieve his financial and family goals.
