Samsung Galaxy UI Evolution! (2010 - present)
In this video you will see how the Samsung Galaxy Android UI has evolved from the early TouchWiz days on the Galaxy S, to the present with One UI 6! Note that One UI 2-4 weren't included because personally I believe the changes weren't that significant. All screenshots and screen recordings you
see in this video were recorded by me.

So proud to say that I was able to experience all of these UI from samsung ❤️

The nostalgia. Not just the ui, but some of the music as well. I had samsungs with android 4 and 5 as a kid. Never thought a phone ui could make me feel nostgic, but then I remember the moments as a kid. I've gotten back to samsung now with android 14
Me too
I had an android 9 now also an android 14
I miss the 2013 ui. I had a galaxy tab 3 back in 2015.
same but the 2014 ui
i got a galaxy tab E back in 2017

I've still got my Samsung Galaxy (1), the 8.9 one and the second one!
Samsung software brought a revolutionary change with the arrival of One UI. One of my devices still has One UI 1.0 (Galaxy J4+)

It's one of the laggiest phones I've ever seen in my life but I still love it so much. I take it as touchscreen Nokia brick sometimes because I have no idea how many times I've dropped it but there hasn't been a single crack on the original screen. Ya that looks so good. Actually its available i guess
Yeah i have it on my samsung galaxy A3 2017
brings back a lot of memories
Thanks for presenting such a wonderful collection
My first Galaxy was the Galaxy S1, what a great time. After some years of using Motorola, Meizu, Xiaomi and Poco I returned to Samsung and was surprised by One Ui on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, now I'm happy with my S23 Ultra.
I wish the older UIs were available as themes 😢
Me too i really want it now

me too why didn't they add that
I miss the way it used to be, my only old devices are a Galaxy Y TV and a tablet from a time when there was a craze for buying tablets and almost every child had one, something I noticed and although I prefer a lot of old things compared to current, for a while now everything has been adopting the "simple, Less detailed interfaces and application icons with sound effects so simple that you don't even remember they exist, it took me 1 year to discover that my Galaxy A32 had sound when unlocking the screen. Current fashion is now simplistic and minimalist
My father is still using Android 4.2.2... Even the wallpaper of the lockscreen is the same.... He bought that phone back in 2015. And still the phone is working fine...
Nostalgia❤️my lots of old memories connected with Samsung devices👀
Those Golden Days when Samsung truly valued their customers and gave unique features everytime.
even the background music is nostalgic
November this year will be a decade that I've had my Galaxy Note 4 origionally realeased in 2014 running Android 4.4 Kitkat. It still works and can do things phones can't do today. Holding down the recent apps button used to be the one handed way to access the menu in an app that is usually in the top corner, not it does nothing. Holding # on phone dialer was vibrate toggle, notlw nothing. Hovering the S-Pen over a number on the phone dial pad showed what speed dial was assoviated with that number. Holding the S-pen to the side of the homescreen level with the page dots went to the next page in that direction. You could choose an animation for swiping through home screen pages. If you held down on the dots on the hone screen it became a bar and you could slide through your different pages to view all your pages easier than continuously swiping. The camera app had the picture capture and video recording buttons next to eachother for better efficiency. Dual camera let you take pictures with the front and rear cameras at the same time with/without templates. Love the universal remote IR blaster. I had control of the TVs in the school cafeteria because I didn't have a dumb CrApple iPhone. I was the only one who could print by downloading the Xerox plugin & wasn't locked to Airprint.
This is growth! They definitely changed those animations in One UI 6.0😎🔥💪
You have the 100.000 Subcribers! congratulations!!! 🥳🥳🥳
It's funny how something small can all of sudden unlock hidden away memories and give you a nostalgic overload. Seeing that old touchwiz ui and that old android store logo, took me back to another time.
The amount of nostalgia is unexplainable
Eski anılarım canlandı ve gözlerim dolacak gibi oldu bi an 😢
15 Minutes Ago This is Very cool!!!!
Before it felt more alive, now everything is so minimalist and lifeless.
While it was more charming, it was slow, choppy, and the interfaces were clunky
not really. they added a lot more colors and animations, so idk what youre talking about lol
@notraeon The Android 12 color palette was a game changer
@@ratrodgrady im stuck on android 11 bro im so sad
@notraeon I feel your pain, I was stuck on 11 on my Galaxy A11 even though it was supposed to get 12. I switched to an S10e and as soon as the next person who used my phone got it, it got the update 😭 I recently switched to a Z Flip4 and honestly OneUI 3 to OneUI 6 isn't that huge of a difference in look other than minor UI tweaks and color palette
I miss my old galaxy s2,which was my 1st mobile phone😢
Am i joke to you?
Does it run Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and Samsung TouchWiz 3, or it's upgraded to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX?
S2 was also my first phone... it lasted till 2020... at night it suddenly just stopped working😢
My first Samsung with a touch screen was the Samsung Champ (with TouchWiz Lite), then I bought my first Android and it was the Galaxy Y (with TouchWiz 4.0), then I bought the Galaxy Music (with TouchWiz 5.0 Nature UX), then the Galaxy J2 (with TouchWiz 6.0), then the Galaxy J7 2016 (with TouchWiz 6.0 and finally updated to Samsung Experience 8.1), then I didn't buy a Samsung smartphone again until 2022, when I bought the Galaxy A52s 5G (with One UI 3 and it was updated to One UI 5.1 the last time I had it in my hands), finally in May 2023 I bought the Galaxy S23 Ultra (with One UI 5.1 and now it is on One UI 6.0, waiting for One UI 6.1), greetings from southern Chile.
I miss the fun names and games with new Android updates
Nice!
I remember to install customrom touchwiz nature ux for my galaxy young 4.0, thats make me very happy 😍
Good job keep up

hello brother. Do you have permission to share your video on Membersta? Or can I share?
S3 homescreen hit really hard to me. Nostálgic
Nice video
touchwiz nature ux 3.0 was the first Samsung ui that I explored and really loved that Currently stuck with one ui 4.1
2013 UI makes me nostalgic, had a Galaxy J2 2015 model back in February 2016 🥲
Been a samsung android user since the first galaxy tab, had numerous phones, among them ace, w, tab 2, tab 7, note 3, s5, s6, j7, a30, a50, flip 4 and s24 ultra. I dont miss the old os at all. And i really hate the ones on note 3 and s5 because they kind of full off apps that is so suspicious , i had to remove the ir remote app because it always suddenly will pop up ads out of no where even after factory reset. And my note 3 is still alive but everytime i plug the charger, an ad suddenly appears. S24 ultra ftw!
14 years and now its smooth 😅
touchwiz nature 2 is nostalgic af for me whose first phone was an s3.
A função de deslizar para o lado, sem puxar a barra de notificações 2X seria muito util hj em dia.
My very first Android skin was OneUI (9 Pie) back in 2019! Then I had Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 which had Android 6 in it! I liked the dialer on Android 6. It reminded me of iOS 6's dialer. I love this video. The earlier UI had their own charm. And on Android 6, you could see OneUI's skeleton.
Android Marshmallow

Wow, how the times hace changed! Started with a Galaxy S4. Now, I have the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Big difference between the two!
Gave me memories of my mother's 1st smartphone samsung Galaxy star

the first android smartphone, the Samsung android.. very nostalgic edit : samsung young
6:30 missed the days when my galaxy note9 had this UI. Used to be lightning fast Beautiful ui and had features that newer versions removed. Pie, 10 and 11 has taken a giant toll on my phone. Still regret updating to pie/9 but I appreciate the dark mode tho
You forgot the TouchWiz 5.0/5.1, that was introduced with Galaxy S6 line
I used Nature UX on my S4 mini as my first phone and loved it! The UI was just so beautiful and non of this flat crap.
Samsung truly started refining it’s experience in One ui
How did you record this?
I thought that i totally had tech of the future when i bought the Galaxy S8. The screen estate is just damn good because around the same time the iPhone X was and still is being mocked for its notch.
Android 6 was perfect. It reminds me of old times with J5.
TouchWiz UI latest version Samsung experience first version One UI first version These were looking nice.
I like the Samsung Experience UI that I have on my Galaxy Tab A8 2016 Edition and my Galaxy Note 5. While One UI looks nice, it can feel clunky at times and a little too simplistic. I also liked TouchWiz Ui on my old Galaxy S4 and S3, but it was very laggy and unresponsive. At the end of the day it is what it is but at the very least is very nostalgic
Nostalgia of Touchwiz UI

I used to have a J7 2016 it was so nice and small i love oreo and 8.1
The notification shade from OneUI 6 looks very familiar, I wonder where did they get their inspiration/copy from 📱📱🍎🍎😂
You used Walker's new song. This is the first time I hear it "in the wild" 😅
I miss the water droplet effect on s6 edge lockscreen
I don't know if it's all of them, but in the Ui of S2 the date is incorrect because it says it's the year 2000
I live had a lot of samsung phones and by far the best experience was the S6 edge plus. I went from the iPhone 5s to that beast and there was no comparison.
So many years of Samsung skins and we still got two different messaging apps preinstalled
back... i had galaxy s2 & galaxy note 1 (so big in my hand).
6:30 this is my favorite version, i had a samsung s7

Samsung device, which was my starter in 2014. It was Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 Maybe I was using Chinese, as replacement for broken Tablet. In 2019, I came back to Samsung with One UI until now. Maybe next time, I will use Oppo as secondary device
When i see the Samsung experience ui, I miss my galaxy s7 phone. One of the best phone i ever had up to this life.❤❤❤

I really like Touchwiz Home 5.0 (Galaxy S6) and One UI
It all started when it was a Samsung Galaxy S9 when I was actually four years old and I miss the old design that was my childhood😢
Proud user of corby, galaxy young, galaxy nexus, s4, s5, s6 edge, s7 edge, note 3. Note 5, s9, s10plus, s20, and now s22.. ❤❤ thanks samsung
2:13 : Well, this is where I started using Android (on Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1). I remembered how beautiful that UI was. Used to be to it, until felt familiar. When using stock Android (on My Uncle's first Android phone), was kinda awkward. Well, stock Android is relatively fast and stable, but may feel awkward if already used to be, like with TouchWiz And The last UI I used was at 3:28. It was on Galaxy Note 3 Neo. And jumped to One UI 1. Well, My Galaxy A10s, can be upgraded to One UI 3 maximum, but I stick with One UI 2, as.... It may make phone slowing down like "heck". That's why anytime soon, I may need to purchase new phone
Old Memories😢
6:44 yes this is my UI on my Samsung Galaxy A5 2017!
I started getting acquainted with Android in version 2.3.6
The love l have for samsung❤
Nostalgic
The frustrated UI ever I used was TouchWiz. The sluggishness was holding me back. I mean, it seems trained my patience. Maybe I was right if Stock Android, although it was difficult at first but it actually met with what I wanted at that time Simple, Stable, and yes, just fast
I love old ui ❤
Nostalgic things
Watching on *Galaxy A13 running Android 14 and OneUI 6.0.* I must say OneUI is the best UI I have had in a phone. It has fewer bloat compared to something like *ColorOS* which I have used in the past. It's very fast and is well optimized. Good job done by Samsung!
coloros is good if you have a flagship oppo, find x series or the latest Renos
@@azu132 That's like basically saying that your os is so unoptimized that only flagship phones can run it properly

I always thought those old customizations were rubbish, I noticed that Samsung left the interface cleaner and more sober, close to the original Android interface, which is honestly great
Touchwiz 3 and 4 looks good imo
Damn. How technology just comes and goes
TouchWiz was so laggy back than so they switched to One UI. For more smooth animations. 😊
Idk what you're talking about. My S5 neo never lagged or froze or crashed. It was smooth. One Ui feels smoother cuz they improved the animations and newer phones have 120hz

Well, I have phone which using identical Android version as on video, but probably stock version. it's Alcatel One Touch T'Pop.
