Except it could easily be seen as inadvertent, which they hardly ever call. Heck, a King almost was almost injured by an Islander a few days ago when you can clearly see the Islander stick his knee out right before contact and they called nothing.

yeah, the puck was already out of the game... I'd say it should be 2minutes for delaying the game for the player who shot the puck out of their D-zone

I might be wrong, but i always saw it as he rather be in the than Backlund (i think was the one who shot the puck). Not sure who's on the Flame's PK Edit : he rather be in the box

I disagree. Watch in slow motion. Skate on skate. His stick never touched the puck, and it wasn't the reason Brad went down. We've seen tripping calls for a lot less contact. But yes, the commentator was annoying.

Seems like penalty shots have been on the rise in frequency over the last couple years, and this year it seems like Match penalties are increasing. Has there ever been any Gross Misconducts in the NHL? Welp… as i’m typing this I looked it up and no wonder, they removed it in 2006! Still though, any clips of any?🤔

was a perfect no-call from refs, marchand cut back into the path of the defender which was the reason he fell, the stick didn't get him but skating into the skate of the defender made him fall and ultimately the fault for that lies on marchand
