Thank you so much for showing how things can go wrong and still come out right!
No respirator when you mix the resin and when you sand it? You are a hero! The fumes and the dust are far from harmless.
The rock climber isn't a dumb analogy at all, makes good sense. Thanks.
Best video on epoxy finishing. Thank you
I loved this video. I want to epoxy the table top I’m building but I didn’t want the gloss. Now I know how tho get there Thanks for the video.
Love how he teaches/explains.
Thanks!
Fuji sprayers are the way to go!!
I love it, the beautiful table that needed a lot of work 😊
Love that table top... I love all your stuff
Thank you!!
Great and informative video. I’m new to epoxy. Do you need to do anything to the underside? Epoxy? Thanks
Love watching you work. Also how you solve the problems. I have used Osmo before and love the finish! Keep the vids coming!
Great videos. Good cadence and useful information
Gerald Stewart thanks so much!!
Make sure the air port is unclogged on top of your pot, laying it sideways will always clog the air port. The exchange of volume will help with product flow.
I am new to this. Can you please let me know if you can mix colours with the items and how to mix it and how much to use ? Thank you
You need to try our matte urethane. You can roll it on and it will lay out smooth. Super cool!
Leggari Products would love to try it out!
The Dusty Lumber Co Email tylor@leggari.com and I will get u set up. Thanks
Great video and I loved how you explained your thought process and your aims. Did you do anything on the bottom or sides (apart from rubbing epoxy on the sides)?
I know this is a year old but. I bought a turbine sprayer and I love it! Graco titan or fuji are all good.
Awesome thank you!!
Хорошая работа получилась😁👍
Well done!
anthony caldi thank you!
I have an old wooden storm door with metal strapping I am interested in finishing exactly this way to use as the top of a kitchen island. Will the epoxy sand off of the metal strapping, or do I need to protect it from the epoxy? If so, what do you recommend using to keep the epoxy off of the metal? Thanks for your time!
Sir, the point where we sanded flood coat by 150 and 220 , thereby do artist use odies and rubio kind of products to make it matte?
Hello, I am installing 12 inch red pine flooring....would you use this epoxy yo fill imperfections and knots....then let floor finisher sand and satin entire floor?
I just finished an epoxy table with poured resin, to get the satin finish with polyurethane would you recommend sanding down to 320, then applying the poly with a brush and then re sanding to 1500? Or going to the wax based with the buffer immediately - I don’t have a buffer so might be complex but would love your input
I mean instead of polyurethane , for matte what products can we use to get nice little sheen matte finish, I tried using rubio directly on to the bare /exposed wood after sanding upto 220 but honestly i didn't like it, kindly help me on this .
Do you do both side? I thought doing only one side would make it warp…
Could I stop at the step after the polyurethane is applied if I am happy with the results? Or is it necessary to sand at that point for a dining room table?
You can stop at the poly if you want 👍
Have you done countertops with Epoxy, if so how have they held up when you place hot items on them?
It’s not recommended you put hot stuff on top of epoxy
Great video! Will use this info for a barn wood island top I am making. What brand epoxy did you use?
What was the black compound you put on before stain called?
Woodwise ebony
I know this is a year old but man I hope you got a new spray gun!🤣 I’ve been an auto painter for almost 15 years. I cringed as that poly was going on😂😂 all in all though that looks awesome!!
👍👍 I use a different finish now that gets rubbed on and buffed off 👍
@@dustylumberco What do you use now?
@@purdue_pete odies oil
this Osmo Poly finish didnt last for me , and no protection from scratchs
Could I use an oil based polyurethane instead of water based?
Breana Smith you bet 👍
I recommend the Earlex 5500 Sprayer it’s around $300. It has various sizes of needles and tips.
Joseph Morris thank you!
Woodglut is full of amazing tips. It helped me a lot.

I did something like this a month ago with plans from woodglut.
