He deserves this fight against AJ, I don’t know why people are complaining about it. I mean Fury is supposed to be #1 heavyweight of the world and Francis basically beat him in his debut fight.

    • Ngannou did give Fury a tough fight but he didn't beat him. Did he prove himself? Yes he did. But let's not jump the hypetrain from nowhere. Fury didn't look that good, and Ngannou may be just a bad matchup for Fury. His power ain't enough to KO Francis, he can't use his weight like he use 2 etc.

Skills fight Iq and they both characters but Irish/English genetics waking up in silk sheets hitting the bottle and ski 🎿 slopes . All these factors after 35 years old you could never compare them to themselves of yesterday . There in a completely different mental state while not being as physically capable . Fury used to box and used his legs like mayweather he’s the biggest guy ever to actually know how to box but he’s getting old definitely out of his prime . Unlike most heavyweights they can rely on there power and experience as they get older . Maybe fury proves me wrong and runs through these guys . Aj lost a step too but with him it’s mental , usyk lost a step , they all do , my point Conor and fury exasperated the process 😂

    • You give Joshua too little credit... This is appealing to his bank balance. It was always meant to be Wilder. This just fills the gap And until the other week, no doubt you, like countless othershave been saying, Wilder would starch Joshua anyway so... With that assumption on my part, what does he really have to lose? FOH with your low rent psychology pal. This is the money game

      @K_j_M@K_j_M4 ай бұрын
    • @@K_j_M the money goes without saying. Of course it’s a significant factor, but AJ is on record in an interview saying he would rather fight for a title than no title. But if no title fight is available he’ll take a non title fight. We all know he’s waiting for the IBF title to become available as the IBF have confirmed they will not allow it to be included in the rematch undisputed fight. And AJ is positioning himself to fight the no.1 contender Hrgovic. That said, AJ’s been persuaded to fight Ngannou in the meantime because of the megabucks and it has credibility because Ngannou showed he can box and gave Fury a really close fight. So there are all sorts of factors yes, but I personally think it’s a really risky fight for AJ. Not because I’m underestimating him but because I believe Ngannou is even better than AJ and Eddie Hearn think he is. So mate, I hope you now understand my thoughts behind my comment which I still stand by.

    • Which stance is that then? He offered the fight to AJ, AJ didn’t want it, was he supposed to force him into the fight? The fact that many people think Francis beat Fury lends him some legitimacy. So that, coupled with the money is obviously an incentive for AJ. So the difference now is AJ wanting the fight, not Eddie switching his Stance.

  • AJ won't be able to knock out Ngannou because of the iron chin. If he stays in the fire long enough to try for the knockout he'll probably get clipped by Ngannou as well. However, AJ has another level of power with normal punches than Fury and will make Ngannou think twice about walking through them. I am guessing that the Joshua we saw against Wallin controls the distance and wins on points. With another training camp this should be a good skillful fight between the two. Oh, and Joshua does not have a glass chin and has been dropped fewer times than Fury. He has gotten up from some very hard knockdowns, especially Kitschko. The fight aginst Ruiz wasn't the chin it was an equilibrium shot. Also, Ngannou didn't knockdown Fury that hard, it was as much about being off balance when the shot came in. I think any fighter would have gotten back up from that.

    @matthewvicendese1896@matthewvicendese18964 ай бұрын
    • I beg to totally disagree with your cheap analysis, Fury got up because Francis cheched-lefthooked him, this was Ngannou first and that was not a right hand shot, after AJ gets brutally KO, folks like you will do what you do best, stay completely silent.

    • idk maybe. He definitely has a good chin but Ngannou gassed pretty badly against Fury and the fight wasn't fought at a particularly fast pace. Fury gassed too and is not a puncher so he was okay. When you are tired, your punch resistance is nowhere near the same. I think if Ngannou ends up as tired as he was against Fury, he will probably get knocked out. Ngannou always has a chance for as long as he's in there, against anyone. I expect AJ to beat him up and eventually stop him though.

  • Eddie Hearn is of course very right about AJ having "a lot to lose" against Ngannou - as Ngannou is an unknown variable in boxing and AJ belongs to the top 5 in HW. AJ on the other hand is a clever boxer that has 1) punching power and 2) knows how to box and 3) has superior body stats as reach for example. In a nutshell: AJ could very well outbox Ngannou over the course of 12 rds. AJ 90/10 favourite in my opinon. Plus: you guys have to keep in mind that Fury likely is on the downhill now, more so considering that he didn't really undertake the best career choices.
