Both played very well today, but once again Iga came out on top. Emma needs to concentrate on speeding up her footwork! She's too slow getting out of the starting block on each shot. In this respect, she could learn from observing Iga and Steffi Graf.

Seeing Emma visibly mouth the words ‘fuck my life!’ After one of Iga’s brilliant defensive displays was pretty funny. Great match!
Her backhand attacking shot is virtuosο. The planting of feet, the twist of body, and timing is impeccable. She can aim at a mosquito cross court and hit it with this monster backhand. Her mind always clear. No nonsense celebrations after each shot.That is why Swiatek is dominant already and she will be in the years ahead. I hope you read that Μαράκι έμορφο.
Even though Emma lost, I saw a lot of positives in this match. She looks confident, her serve and, in particular, her forehand were firing well and, perhaps more importantly, she looks like she cares. She held her own pretty well overall considering who she was playing and I think it bodes well for the future of Emma's tennis. Swiatek was just a bit too good for her on this day.
Good battle by Emma. She showed she can blast her forehand and against the top players, she needs to use it more often.

That’s improved a lot over the last week we’ve seen. Emma could’ve been more aggressive hitting for the corners when she had opportunities, Emma hit too many towards her, Iga is really good at redirecting into tough spots and getting on top of the rally.
Emma is playing great tennis but IGA is still next level. Look forward to a great year for Emma.

What a contrast in form. Emma's form is beautiful and fluid. Her serve is elegant. She hits almost effortlessly. Iga is grinding away like a machine. Maximum effort. Her form is clunky and her serve is just ugly. She plays exactly like her idol. What saves Iga is that she moves very well. If Emma played like this after the Open title, she would have won many titles already. If she stays healthy and continues to improve, she will win more majors. She's got a lot of talent.
Really ? I have the impression that the US Open title gave Raducanu quite a long tennis life. Without it, there would be no wild cards and no games on large arenas. She would probably play in WTA 125 tournaments to save points.

Emma elevates Tennis to a higher level, transcending it almost to a graceful and elegant art form , whilst yet still maintaining a deadly scientific ruthlessness The nearest thing to a Roger Federer in the womens game imo. We should consider ourselves lucky that she still chooses to grace us with her presence on a Tennis court , when she has so many other options in life.And long may she do so.

I don't know, Swiatek is definitely strong but I just can't like it. She's monotonous, she always plays the same way, she hits the ball hard and that's it, tactically is zero, you see a few short balls one per set but his athleticism helps her a lot. I don't like his way of playing.

Obejrzyj półfinał z Rybakiną! Rybakina zagrała kilka krótkich piłek i urozmaiciła swoją grę. Świątek nic, zawsze grał tak samo od początku do końca, tracąc kilka uderzeń w absurdalny sposób. To nie tak, że nie zmieniła gry, nie jest w stanie tego zrobić, taka jest prawda. Gdyby był choć trochę mądrzejszy, nawet pod względem taktycznym, byłby naprawdę nie do pokonania.
