I'm with Gil on the most improved player argument. This is the first time I can recall being actually angry at my phone screen about someone's opinion and the subsequent argument. 24 years is a fine sample size when you see consistency in the results, especially when you do well over half. Regardless, when 10% of the players receive it without having the best stat changes, doesn't make it questionable each time. Otherwise, you can make an argument for luka mvp literally every year and kmarts opinion, to stay consistent, would be, "yeah he had a good year, lead in points, won games he did his thing". Meanwhile Joel may have averaged 20 boards and .5 less points. It would be objectively incorrect to put luka over Joel in that scenario just like it was objectively incorrect to not give it to white.
