Rusty Broken Meat Cleaver Restoration - Restoration Videos
Hi again my friends, we are meeting again after just a small amount of time. And yes, I have prepared another cleaver restoration video for you. This is a different meat cleaver other than the one in the older video. Handle is oval shaped and it has a hook. Not diving into deep details, I invite you to start watching. Enjoy. See you in the next project, take care.

You really should put your hallmark on all of these things, they are practically works of art.
Thanks 🙏🏻
I think we can safely remove the word "practically" from that sentence. 🙂

OMG SO TRUE
Beautiful! You always do great work. I love your collaborations with OldHand. I am so incredibly jealous of that man's life. His workshop seems like such a relaxing place. Beautiful scenery outside.
@byOldHand 🙏🏻
Stunning restoration better than the day it was sold , great work.
Thanks Spike
You owned it? Cool!
I like your sunglasses! And tHank you ! This was a good way to fall asleep rust vids just make my sleep smooth!
That really came out sweet. There must have been at least a pound of rust that came off the knife at the start. But, the thing I liked best was seeing the handle being made and installed, a most excellent job young man.
Thanks sir
What can be better than seeing Meine Mechaniker posting content again!!!❤🎉😊
That's a risky phrase to use. I do love the way this one was restored. It looks real good!
MM and Old Hand…….what a combination! 2 of the best !
I love the amount of love and dedication you show on these restorations!
thank you very much, my friend. it's a pleasure to hear this from an artisan like you.
Przepiękne jest ten cały tasak odrestaurowany pozdrawiam twórcę tego filmiku serdecznie 👍👏
Great work! What kind of fruit is that at the end of the video?
Bitter melon
Wonderfully precise and knowledgeable work, a great pleasure to watch this tape. Es ist eine große Freude, Ihre hochkompetente Arbeit zu sehen. Wunderbares Resultat!

Absolutely beautiful
I liked the video, love
Thanks for sharing. It is so satisfying watching you work. Great job.
Always so excited when you upload a video. ❤ your work a lot. During the "reveal" I was surprised, wondering "will it cut?" You never disappoint, as you showed the sharpening process as well! Thanks 😊
❤️
That was exactly the kind of video I needed. Thank you
Bravo Sir!
Beautifully done work, sir! The walnut handle is amazing; such lovely wood.
definitely walnut is a wonderful tree. i think it's very nice in almonds. the wonderful duo
i mean it's good work, but does anybody else think this channel is a little too similar to my mechanics?
Yes many people

Lovely work. Good for another 100 years.
The grip is too thick I think. Thanks for the videos. They are quite amazing. The only wish or proposal I have is to add a more comments about tools and materials you are using during a process. Thanks.
Beautiful work.... as always. What a joy to watch! Cheers my Gentleman!
thank you, Mr. kindgren. how nice to see you. happy Sunday. cheers
Perfekte Arbeit 👍👍👍👍 Meisterklasse

Great attention to detail! You even sanded the tang! I see so many knife restorations where the tang is just ignored. One the one hand I get it, it’s not going to be seen by anybody, but on the other it doesn’t feel like the restoration is fully finished if you know what I mean.
thanks lynnea
Super nice job. And a first-class cutting instrument.
Another excellent restoration! I love the small changes you made to the clever. Better than the original!
Thanks sir
Wow so beautiful 🤩
As always , on top ! We are very much waiting and watching with interest ...
thank you so much
Please, make the sandblasting last longer. It is very satisfying.
So many have found the perfect words of praise for what you do in restoring pieces so beautifully. Keep giving all of us more vlogs to make us happy to watch ...from sunny & hot Southern California
Thanks Anne, grettings to south california ✋
That came out awesome. Love your work man. 👍👌👌
You are the best at what you do, sir. Thank you for always setting the standard.
thanks a lot
Well done, sir.
thanks
I love your perfectionism!
thanks mr. Gerry
Stunning, dude! Truly amazing work! 😃 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you so much dude
Beautiful cleaver!
You know it's a good day when I get a new video from you and Old Hand, Woohoo. 😎
have a enjoy day dude
A true artisan👌.
The hook is useless now tho, its supposed to be a hook you can use to move big pieces of meat easier. The angle of the hook is not going to be easy to dig into anything. It does make for a great hook to hang the cleaver on the wall.. as you shown in the video. 😄 However very nice craftsmanship and it looks very clean!
🙂 thanks
This is lovely, I've an old blade I want to make into a cleaver. Amazing inspiration 👍
thanks
It turned out beautifully 🎉 , but there is a little bit around the handle ... 🤔.
Beautiful work.
You did an excellent job of restoring the chopper well done you. My wife commented my chopper could do with an overhaul 😮😂😂😂👍
😅😅
amazing work as always! Keep it up!!!

Amazing work. Well done.
Finally getting a chance to watch your video. Great job! Video and the project were awesome. Your knife couldn’t have ended up in a better black with Old Hand! Thanks for the content. See you on your next one.
thanks mate see you
Another perfect job. I am still *very* jealous of all of your nice tools.
Thanks a lot
Spectacular!!
Chocada kkkkk arrasou
Gorgeous restoration! I have every confidence that the 240Z will look equally good!!!! Great work thanks for sharing!!!
I don't know you commented this intentionally or by mistake but nice 😂 as it the mention of the original my mechanics channel
the 204z is not the right choice to restore. i think a 115 mercedes will be the right choice ;) by the way, let's not forget about our 52 buic car.
@@meinemechaniker I must admit I thought the 240 would be a difficult restoration. Rough for a California car--dents missing pieces racing customization. 115 is a good choice thanks for reminding me the 52 Buick would also. Great work!!!!
@@dave3156this is a different person than my mechanics right?
excellent travail ! bravo.
Beautiful work!
thanks
Incredible restoration!
thanks sir
Hello, great job, well done. Cheers :-)
greetings sir
I have a question: Why do you heat up the tang to fit it in the handle? If metal expands when it's hot and contracts when it's cold, wouldn't that make for a looser fit when the tang cools? There's obviously a good reason for it, otherwise you wouldn't do it; I just don't know said reason 😅
I think it burns the wood to match it's shape, giving it a better fit
This method is often used for file handles and knives.
Very nice video! Informative and interesting. Thank you, George from Florida, USA
Thanks George
Love your videos ❤
I'm a butcher and would love to use this in my shop.

The hook is not for hanging the cleaver, you do know that right?
Another masterpiece!
Thanks
Amazing restoration,wow.
Thanks Arun
Amazing work. You must be very pleased with it. 😊
Beautiful Restoration Man!! what fruit is that green fruit you cut?
Thanks, special pomgrante
Wonderful work.
thanks
I thought the metal threads on the original handle were pretty nice, but great job!

Это не мясной нож, это нож секач
What's the point of heating the metal up before adding the handel?

Antika bir daktilom var tamir ederek hem görsel keyif hemde bana süpriz yapmayı düşünürmüsün? :)

A job well done :) The handle is an amazing piece of wood, what type is it? Keep up the great work :)
thanks sir. Handle is walut wood
Is the tang held in the handle by friction only? The original handle had a mechanical connection at the pommel.
I loved the video but one question why no gloves?
