In this video I make a small dump trailer using a 12V winch.
For some time we have been changing the barn into a "new" workshop in our spare time. There is a lot to do there and that's why I decided to build this trailer to speedup and facilitate earthworks.
It will definitely be useful for transporting firewood for the winter, carrying heavy things and many other works.
I think I was exaggerating a bit with the weight of the trailer, because it weighs over 100 kg, but at least it's solid :)
The winch used in this design works well, although it could be a little stronger.
I did not give an additional battery because the tractor has a 26 ah gel battery and it is a sufficient power source.
Some homemade tools used when building this project:
• Big Vise using Bottle ... - Hydraulic Bench Vise
• The easiest way to cut... - Chop saw
• DIY Belt Grinder 2x48"... - DIY Belt Grinder 2x48
Not one aspect lacked attention to detail/function! PERFECT. This must be a gratifying build to have done, able to use

As a young man i worked as a welder/fabricator- serious skills dude! SOOOOO jealous of your shop
Elevator mechanic here, #1 rule with crosbys,...never saddle a dead horse. Saddle always goes on the live side of the cable. Nice work brother 👏, great craftsmanship!!!
It is a real pleasure to see someone as talented as you, who shared your skills and knowledge doing this project. Thank You. Our world needs more like you.
Some time ago I thought: *"one of these days he's gonna make something thats not very satisfying"* *I STOPPED THINKING THAT QUITE A FEW PROJECTS AGO.* Well done............ *again.*
Wszystkie Twoje wstawki oglądam z uśmiechem na twarzy. Super pomysły, można się wiele nauczyć. Oby tak dalej. Pozdrawiam
I am a retied mechanical engineer in Australia, this is an excellent job of building a small tipping trailer. I however would have installed the axle about 150mm towards the rear of the trailer, it would tow better and put some weight on to the tow ball for more traction on the towing machine. Five stars
Twoje wykonawstwo ociera się o geniusz ! chylę czoła i życzę dalszych pomysłów ku uciesze oglądających
Top notch craftsmanship as always. Very good cable management, the box within a box idea is genius!
Thank you for sharing another awesome build!
Jak zwykle genialny pomysł 👨🏭 czekam na kolejne projekty
Absolutely love that saw machine. The way it eats steel tube is SO satisfying.
Brilliant build! I like that you created your own snatch block for the winch lift. Doubled your lifting capacity!

I thought of that same mechanism a couple of years ago. I am terribly glad to see it works. Very well done.
Every time I watch a cool build like this, I eventually hit that point where I say, "Man, I wish I had a lathe..." Very nicely done though, clever use of the winch there. Way easier than hydraulics.
yeah no kidding... and a plasma cutter.
Lathes are gateway tools bro, stay away...
@@ervincameron8936 Damn, too late, I finally picked up a beginner level one. Past the point of no return now lol.
@@Mr402TA Due prices around here even smallest hobby lathe or second hand wreck, i took full nose dive into deep end and started to make my own lathe from the scratch, since someone was gracious enough to drop new chuck, axle, cone bearing and frame tube into local metal collection point, where i picked them up for free. Already got axle machined on the local shop to accept the chuck and currently working on making frame for the bearings and seals, witch get welded to tower and frame will come from I beam probably when i can source cheap 2meter long peace of it and some scrap peaces of plate for the carrier. Tail chuck was pretty easy to source, since machine shop agreed to help out and machine the tubes needed for it and machine MT4 to MT3 adapter that i picked for ridiculously cheap so it can be heat fitted to tail stock. Machining the morse taper would cost pretty hefty amount but this way its almost free. Probably end up costing around 400-600€ to get it operational enough to turn chips, but everything after is just convenience and such addons, like digitally controlled lead screw and digital measuring of the operations.

Jak dla mnie naprawdę gratuluję talentu... którym jest twoja mądrość. Wielki szacunek.
Being Polish is a wonderful thing. Love to see a fellow Pole doing good work. Maybe we should import more from Poland and less from China....then we wouldn't have to replace it so often.
You can make mine red or blue, great job man. Love the cut off saw. You do excellent work.

Very good skill set. Just shows with the right kit and the training to go with it everything looks easy. Pleasure to watch.
Absolutely love watching all of your inventions. You’re an engineering master.

True genius.. I've seen some other trailers that won't even dump that size of load. Also my compliments on that tractor belt driven and has balls to pull through.
Your work can't be praised enough! Great conception and execution every time!
Really nice work. I've been thinking of building my own dump trailer similar to this. However, mine would be made out of steel rack beams (we pick up "scrap" from a local warehouse store). One change I would make would be to use three pulleys and run the cable back to the wench. That way it could pick up twice as much weight, albeit a little slower. But it would be less wear on the wench/battery.
That is an excellent build. I really enjoyed watching it. Thank you.
Love the foot operated vice.
If you weld chains to your gate and chain hooks on both sides of the bucket. you can control how much the gate opens to help control the flow of dirt out of the trailer.
Outstanding workmanship in every aspect!
Wow! Awesome, you got some skills!! Definitely helps with all the work that you need to get done! Way to go!!
After observing your skills at manufacturing, i would never be afraid of buying anything manufactured in Poland. I am very impressed!
Wayne Byerly you know what pisses me off though? In USA our government would praise his work and buy thousands of them for government work ,but if someone from USA trys to sell them to our own government they (the Biden administration) would cancel the order and call the guy named made in USA ,a racist for the name made in USA. It's not hard to imagine. But very good job made in Poland.
Like your builds. Industrial strength so you know it will last for years
Except the buyed parts it's absolutly correct. The winch and especially the wheels are the things he needs to exchange first.
@@felixe.8402 Other than the color, it looks like a HF wench. For light weight applications like this trailer, it'll probably hold out for many years.
Amazing idea. The whole project is perfectly made. Good job, great video :)

Nice build! I think I personally would have used larger tires, but that is something easily changed. Good job!
Outstanding fabrication and project. Thanks for sharing it and your skills.
I am impressed with the tools and equipments he has. Nice job
I know the tape is sped up, but he looks like he is working on an assembly line instead of a custom project. ...like every tiny thing is like nothing to him and he is working almost uncounsciously. You never see him just stop, and think about it. It is amazing to watch him work. I care none about what he is actually building. I am here for the build.

Great idea, brilliant execution, I did something similar but instead of a winch I just put a bottle jack for an engine crane on the front of my tilt trailer

😊pkl,

Nice build, you even made your own sheave for the wire rope, props! Some dump trailers put the pivot point a little forward of the rear of the dump box. 1 foot makes a big leverage difference, and even with a low trailer like this gives room for a steep angle.
I really like that build 👍 I especially like the lift mechanism using the ATV winch. GREAT JOB. 👍👍
