Brendan Schaub is the Gringo Papi... and it's terrible. In the world of comedy specials, The Gringo Papi stands alone. Not only is it painfully unfunny, it's both barely a special and the worst comedy special I've ever seen. Think Amy Schumer's Leather Special was bad? Still think nothing tops You'd Be Surprised? Well, you'd be surprised...
Brendan Schaub has completed his Mencia arc, going from regular ol' joke thief to full-blown phony messican. It's a tale of stolen jokes, betrayal, CTE, and most important of all, standing up to those dastardly haydurs.
But with a 1.1 star rating on IMDb, is it too late for Bapa to redeem himself? Will he continue to spiral and sue everyone that stands in his way? Will Joe Rogan ever step in and put and end to this madness? Will Bobby Lee ever get the respect he deserves? How many truggs must we walg to before this comes to an end??

  • One of the most interesting things about this special is that he said it was 4 years in the making. Yet half of it involves the pandemic which is 2 years old now. So it took him 4 years to come up with 12 minutes of jokes about Mexican food being spicy.

Yet he says his main title is comic. That's like if someone like LeBron James said he was first and foremost a basket-weaver, then actor and ball player. Joe knowing he's not a good comic allows him to not develop an ego and want to be helpful to others because he knows hw can't compete with his guest in terms of being better than them.

  • This special was amazing it blew my mind. It was like watching an A.I do stand up, a lot of his punchlines straight up made no sense, he used the same punchline multiple times, he was laughing at his jokes harder than anyone else. This style of “comedy” has never been done before. its very original.
